Sorry for the content but this ain't the exact story. Sonu hardly had the instances, where he could not complete the recording'. But this time he had a sore throat and thus could not record. Within 2 days as soon as his voice recovered, he called Ajay Atul multiple times which was not answered. He reached the studio directly and almost for 2 hours was just listening this song to inculcate and get absorbed in the mood. Ajay Atul heard his humming outside the recording room and rest is the history, The song was recorded and became one of a gem of the musical history. As per what I know, he did not charge any cent for this song as he mentions this song in itself is a gift to him by the composers.
