I absolutely loved everything about Spyglass Hill. It's easily in my top 3 favorite courses that I've ever played. It had it all... VIews, amazing greens, lots of trees, water, wildlife, plenty of sand and the whole course was peaceful. It was easy to get lost in your thoughts or in the woods searching for your ball. Either way, this place was something special and I hope to play it again.

Uriah Leese He said it was playing 163. There was a 20 yard elevation drop. The actual yardage versus what it is playing is two different things. It helps with club selection. I'm telling you this in case you are new to golf and are confused about it. Awesome view though, right?
Uriah's Birdie to Triple bogey ratio is 1:18 on par 3's of this distance. Of course he notices it.

Shot 76 today which was my first round ever in the 70's, your short game of both of you inspires me when I hit the green because in all of your videos you guys just pull off amazing up and downs and I think it's because u have fun when your around the green, your not thinking as much your just betting on who gets closer, which is the fun and best way to do it

Been living vicariously through you boys for years. My first time in Monterey this weekend and I played Pebble, Spyglass, Spanish, Bayonet, etc. Marko said it best man "I can tell you already, I Love Spyglass"... Amen. Love the channel, may you keep flourishing.

Really awesome video! I first learned about Spyglass from the 96 PGA Tour computer video game. My family got the game (it was included as a bundle of CD-ROMs) when we bought our first home PC. I knew nothing about golf but ended up playing the game loads and then started golfing a bit in junior high and high school. Anyway, I played the game so much that I totally remember the layout of these holes. It's really fun to see them played as they actually are!
Guys, again a great job, your Vlogs really make it feel like a round with your pals. What a course, good to see some form has returned!
I just found your channel yesterday and I simply cant stop watching! The athmosphere of this channel is on point. I like it for a change aswell that there is a golf channel on youtube were there isnt only +5 handicappers.

Another great video and it's great that you guys are playing the courses I've always wanted to play. Been there along the 17 mile drive but was unable to play so it's great to see the courses. Look really tough too. Keep up to the great videos. And get more of Finch and Shiels on the channel.

Lucky enough to play here, pebble, and Spanish each year. I will say there is something special about pebble, but I look forward equally as much to spyglass. It’s really a great, tough course.
This is a great channel. When you live in Canada and have not been out since October this is helping scratch the itch.
Really like your blogs ,have to agree with you I was at pebble last July I didn't play coarse as I thought $500 was to much ,you have both got good swings,marko been watching your putting try and keep your head down a little longer after impact,cheers Eugene from Ireland

Yes I worked hear and it was my first job on a course and it's so beautiful and yes number 4 is one of the most difficult green on any golf course and there's only like 3 pin placement you can set the cup truly amazing very beautiful

You guys have the best course vlogs in the business imho. Just enough commentary to explain situations, without ever bordering on incessantly annoying. Do you drone each hole? What might be interesting for people closely following how you guys play the course, would be to use that footage before beginning the hole, instead of all at once in the intro. Sort of give a overview. Anyway keep up the good work, will be watching for sure.

Hey Marko, I noticed when you chip, you let your wrist release which causes the leading edge to lift and you are not far from completely blading it. I would recommend that you keep the arm and shaft in unison as you release to prevent any shots skidding across the green.
Up and down out of the fescue is Marko's specialty. We've all seen it before!

I played there with my brother-in-law last Christmas, he's not my favorite person to play golf with, but I had a great time, I don't make the kind of money to be playing on a course like that very often, but damn was it worth it. And I agree, it's better than Pebble if you ask me. I pulled out my scorecard to see what I shot on the 4th hole.
Had a bogey. Had a 93 overall.
It's a lot of fun watching you guys play while I'm working.

Gorgeous views! Great birdies, Marko! I definitely sense a happier vibe compared to the last course. I still hope PB reaches out to you guys. btw, I do miss the slo-mo. I so wanted to see Marko's blast out of the waste area in slo-mo. Thx for adding shot tracer, though, it steps up your vlogs even more!
Slow mos will be making a comeback in future videos. I definitely didn't do us any favors by missing it to the far left with it being cart path only. I'm really excited to test these cameras out in sunny conditions at 180fps. When its a little dark out they don't come out as crisp because the slow mo shots require more light to get the same exposure.

No comparison with PB. Spyglass looks in better shape and more interesting. PB also looked worn with the number of tee times allocated. Nice job guys.
