AMX-56 Leclerc was the main battle tank developed by GIAT, French defense industry group. AMX Leclerc is the French Army main battle tank in service since 1993, modernized version are expected to enter service in 2020.

fun fact: AMX had nothing to do at all with the leclerc since only GIAT made it so if you say AMX-56 leclerc to someone who have the tiniest knowledge in tanks he's gonna roast you

Imagine bringing this back during the Blitzkrieg era. The Germans surely will not laugh at the B1 bis anymore
I mean, they could laugh at the B1-Bis.. It still could fuck up their Pz.III and Pz.IV without being able to penetrate them. The Battle of Stonne is a great example of this, one B1-Bis, 14 Pz.III and Pz.IV.. All panzer destroyed, B1-Bis intact after tanking 140+ shot
@@rrows5803 Probably because those Panzers were the early variants. If the B1 Bis fought a Panzer 4 F2/G/H or Panzer 3 J1/L/M I'm sure the panzers would win.

@@yelbegen4512 kısmen doğru motor 1500 Beygir normal zırh malzeme kalitesi iyi fakat çok dengesiz top 980MM kdr delebilen(alman mühimmatları ile Fransız mühimmatları ile net değil ama 700 800 arası)
L/52 topuna sahip tabi bu top alman yapım Fransızlar lisans adı altında üretiyor.
Çok da çöp denilemez fakat tabiki koca alman kedisi ve küçük rus ayısı varken kim sekler bu horozu.

This is a French MBT. As you can see on 0:50, the tank is perfectly designed to still be effective in shooting down enemies, while it retreats.

AMX 56 Wrong name REEEEEEEEE
Non c'est l'AMX 56 "Leclerc", le nom est correct. Le numéro est pour différentier les modèles par leur poids AMX 30 = 30 tonnes et AMX 56 = 56 tonnes
@@charlesdupontavice2814 I don't speak french, but let me correct you, the AMX 30 does not wheigh 30 tons, in fact it has a mass of 36 tons, the AMX 32 does not have a mass of 32 tons, because it has a mass of 38 tons. Leclerc is also not built at AMX factories, it is built at GIAT (now nexter)
@@charlesdupontavice2814 NON. AMX 56 n’est JAMAIS utilisé dans aucun document, peut-être juste dans les prototypes mais n’as jamais été et ne sera jamais un nom officiel, donc l’appellation AMX 56 est fausse

The last version of our Leclerc is on of the best tank, it looks short etc... but its mobility/reload/gun/armour make it on of the best tank in the world ☺ a lot of information are classified but we can average the values 😆
There are 3 known (Correct me if I'm wrong) version of the Leclerc. S1 S2 and SXXI, and the last one (SXXI) is one generation above all tanks, let it be armor, reload time, firing range, etc. It doesn't cost ~6M$ because French engineers can't build shit without costing them a lot, It cost ~6M$ because it is one (If not THE) best tank in the world. It can easily fuck up an Abrams or a T-90

Le leclerc une grosse merde, lui je sais pas ce qu'il fout la, mais hormis le Leopard qui dans certaine situation peut être meilleur que le Leclerc, le reste je suis désoler mais le Leclerc est bien supérieur, rien que sa mobilité exceptionnel couplé à son excellent système de conduite de tir, le leclerc est certainement le meilleur tueur de char qui puisse y'avoir, et pour source dans le livre "leclerc de la guerre froide aux conflits de demain" un petit tableau qui résume en quoi le Leclerc est supérieur et aussi les fan boy du fatleopard c'est qu'il compare des Leclerc des année 90 à un leopard 2A6 ou 2A7 qui datent des années 2010, donc bon ... mais normal parce que ces dernière versions du leopard intègre des innovations du leclerc ... avec 20 ans de retard quoi xD

actually as long as you don't specifiy which leopard 2 i will have to answer a big fat no, because most of them are trash nowadays (there are plenty of models)
however if you specify then it'll become a yes, until 2020
leclerc have disgusting armor even a T-54 can penetrate lecrerc from front so Leopard 2A4 can smash the french toy easly

In 2004 the Leclerc was still officialy recognized as the best tank in the world, at that time the leo2a6 modernization with the new gun had already started
tanks maximum armor is 300 mm and thats only part of front armor not entire area low side of front armor has maximum 80 mm armor and even a WW2 tank can destroy the leclerc from there and since a T54 can penetrate 200 mm it will easly for him to destroy and when tank came out in 2004 no body know much about armor statistics just they showed its speed computer system and gun(gun is german L44) but after tank armor statistics and reports revived it showes tank have one of thinest armors in modern time tanks compare and have big electronics problems so thats one of reasons almost no body buys lerclerc and don't support that tank just because you french
