@@LouisGedoheyoo!
I'm really impressed..........and I'm not easily impressed!
@@MattVidPro did you know if you lyrics thing put your own lyrics in and then click generate it would turn it into lyrics it likes to use
I'm coming for that 4080!
I think possibly as early as this year there will be a Suno-created song that will chart and people won't even realize it when they hear it.
That will be cool
Maybe that could be possible through something like TikTok but the typical issue is just gaining traction is either having industry backing or building up your audience through releasing tracks on social media but it's hard to do that when you don't have any sort of sound people can grow accustomed to. Music is just as much about the artist as the song and Suno doesn't offer a way to replicate a vocalist or band arrangement. Once it lets us replicate the sonic components of one track and use that on other tracks, then I think we'll see virtual bands and singers probably becoming bigger than vtubers and virtual influencers.
While it's cool, I don't think that AI generated music will ever become mainstream in entertainment. It's like showing people what chatgpt or Dall-E generated you - nobody really cares. It doesn't have much value when no effort was put into it.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like music is about so much more than just the songs themselves, it's about the art of it 🤷♂️
(there are obviously many other use-cases for this)
Commercial Music is a Business, and these songs are not scalable beyond a hobby or toy. You need an "Artist" to tour and promote recordings with concerts to their followers. Tickets CDs and endorsements are what make real money.
Excellent point. Give it some time and Suno can/and will address that if there's demand for it. @@user-on6uf6om7s
21:30 I almost cried with the southern chatbot country song, not even joking lol, amazing
Yeah I don’t even like country and this one pulled at my heart strings a bit. So strange feeling.
The country song was a bop
matt: meh, i'll bin that
It gave me goosebumps. So good...
it is, omg what a time to live in
The bad news is AI going to replace contemporary pop musicians. The good news is AI is going to replace contemporary pop musicians.
💯
It will replace bad pop producers but it will elevate the work of good pop producers.
It's going to replace THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY
That is never a bad thing, I been on underground shit anyway.
I tried it for a few days, everything it produces is basic as fuck
At the moment a sub music teacher (and full time IT educator) at Primary School. Im having all classes writing their own lyrics, throwing them into Suno. Letting them choose what style it fits, then after class Ive been fiddeling with making it a full song 2-3 minutes by using the "continue" thing.
Got 11 songs ready. Gonna make a video edit with stuff and make it as a "schlager festival" competition where they all get to vote on the best contribution except their own.
They are all really hyped :)
That’s rad!!!!!!
That's so awesome! Way to go! I can easily see that being used in class in every discipline. That will give some learning boosting and keep the kids engaged. 👍
If only all kids were so lucky
So you are teaching the children that music is really something that can be massproduced by a corporatie generator? That is sweet.
@f4ust85 I believe you haven't watched the video showcasing the various modes in which SUNO operates. Children compose their own lyrics, while AI generates the accompanying instrumental parts. Perhaps you could leverage AI to assist you in organizing your thoughts, as you appear to be somewhat disoriented. 😉
The general public still has no idea what's coming, AI is going revolutionize many Industries. Hold on to your hats for the AI breakthroughs are going to change the world as we know it.
yeah, studio's samplers, recording sessions, even expensive microphones... will all be thing of the past.
Revolutionize? More like annihilate.
Ai is going to destroy*. A replicant cannot revolutionize it can only replace. This is not just new technology; this is the destruction of human creativity

WHY DOES THIS GO SO HARD??!!!
we need the link for the song!
Nah, this is ridiculously overpowered.
Seriously that last country song could probably be played on the radio and get a decent amount of traction. Almost 100% perfect
Agreed this tech is insane. It allows me (no talent) to make banger songs. Too bad the free mode only allows 10 creations a day.
@@tapejara1507”too bad”???? i would GLADLY pay money for this!!!!! no question!!!! this is absolutely insane
@@tapejara1507all of these songs are hot garbage. Not saying that v4 or v5 wont produce some amazing stuff, but I've yet to hear something that would be considered good. Maybe that last country song was ok
@@Teucer9 I wouldn't say garbage, I feel like it has more passion than most generic music these days
Matt is having a good hair day. 🤣
😂
Like a young John Oliver.
Remember, you can continue from a segment of a clip! So if you have hallucinations and want to continue, just put the time frame in and there you go!
That is some great info that helps a lot.
I have been using SUNO for about a month. To think that it is still young as a technology, but already it can do wonderful things. I look forward to more updates for this amazing service, and I expect great things from this technology..
13:14 man this rap goes hard! i'm truly impressed by V3, I feel like V4 will be perfect
Thanks matt, so much for always keeping me up to date in the AI world. You have always been very helpfull in that!
WOW... I kind of thought music was a no go for my, regarding AI. But this is some great inspiration. Some can be sampled, some can be split, some can be transcribed to midi, it is like working with a smart friend. Like literally every other AI is.
There are some decent stem splitters out there but, Akai is “supposedly” coming out with “Stems”. Clean stems can be generated supposedly. This will change the game for a lot of us music producers.
‘
it feels like cheating because its music you didnt create and come from your heart. Its feels like no honest earned achievement.
who cares, as soon as it will start to give more money people will use it actively@@animeswitch
Its abominable, but soon this generation will pass away and gen alpha will accept it. Hints why we need to start having a bunch of children and passing down our values so our thought pattern isnt erradicated.@@animeswitch
@@animeswitchBrother there's no such thing as cheating in music
I wonder if once this tool becomes popular and it eventually sneaks its way into the Billboard charts, people of the future will look back at these videos to see the moment the switch flipped and we allowed robots into the music industry. And maybe they'll find this comment.
Music execs have had had access to AI since the 90's. This is garbage compared to what they have
As someone who is unfortunate enough to be in the industry you are talking about, I wholeheartedly disagree. Screwing artists like they are slaves is the business model, now we have new slaves, they're just non-human. This is the cutting edge and there's nothing better behind the curtain, it was essentially just sequencers with probability.@@TheAzurefang
There is so much that is good in V3: track separation, cracking instrumental sections, and better starts and outros to songs. I've been running it to produce j-pop and j-rock (with both English and Japanese lyrics) and have had fewer hallucinations than Matt's test had.
Thanks for keeping me updated with Suno AI!
STOKED FOR THIS VIDEO
Awesome! Was waiting for this video!
This is really really good! I feel like these are just that close from being usable in a real-life context. Definitely the best I've heard.
RIP us music makers. It was a good ride.
make music bc u love to do it, there was never as much money for the average professional musician anyway
@@simonsanchezkumrich8489Thats an awesome response to this guy who will likely have his livelihood destroyed. He probably wasnt making much money anyway, lol.
@@IconoclastX Bruh, I'm about to start making money, and now I find out this AI crap. I hope AI wont hit classical music, tho. The logic of romantic and post romantic harmony is really hard to reproduce, I hope so. Right now it's more about small forms and arrangement. So it's more about "producers" and "beatmakers".
Only solution is to lean in to your brand and make it personal.
You're onto it, I recently lost a portion of my job due to this exact AI in fact, but only for the "car radio" whereby they didn't want to pay me or other humans to make songs for the radio due to the cost and hard (very enjoyable) work for all of us involved. The illustrators and branding specialists all lost their jobs 1 year ago, who knows how they are going.
However, they absolutely require me for the score and sound design of course because the AI isn't able to be consistent, specific or push boundaries, it's entirely derivative and the sound quality is very poor.
You know it takes me to a quote from Bladerunner 2049, Niander Wallace :"Every leap of civilization was built off the back of a disposable work force. We lost our stomach for slaves, unless engineered."
Really humanity is too expensive to utilise if it has rights, so either we lose our rights or we lose our purpose. I'm choosing to lose my purpose because the lack of shelter and food is more acutely dangerous. As humans, we adore slavery.
Thanks for the video. I am a music producer since over 30 years and I must say: wow V3 is damn good. These "ideas" it comes up with are amazing and inspiring.
Do you think the music industry will be affected by this? What's your take?
@@bigv3192 Absolutely. No need for producers anymore when it comes to ordinary radio type music. It’s already based on certain features that can be easily replicated and enhanced by artificial intelligence.
Also streaming will be affected. There will be AI driven services on demand that generate musical content that will be indistinguishable from human productions. It’s all based on what humans have created over centuries and since it is a machine it will even be better one day.
czcams.com/video/8Wf0C0kkmk4/video.htmlsi=T6dlXIhr6N60yqt7 then you mist listen this one! Made with suno V2. And the videoclip is also from AI tool. I have not edit it. Its realy next level. I also have more AI music thats crazy
@@ZiB-Musicyes, musically amazing, technically still like low resolution MP3 and it sometimes has problems with intonation and instrumentation. The good thing is: Soon everyone will be able to create art regardless of their ability, because the previous technical hurdles (learning an instrument, music production, mixing, mastering) will be bridged by AI. While it's nice to have a machine that can do things for you, it's still beneficial to understand the basics of music in order to use it to its full potential.
Yeah, better than the crap you've been doing for the past 30 years. Thank SATAN we have AI to replace you and give us something new and original. Hip Hip Ho-ray!
Keep up your great work and information!👌
It's mindblowing how creative it gets with the lyrics, using metaphors, word-plays etc
I think that it actually uses Chat GPT for the lyrics, so that part might be all them.
Only if you don't have a mind and are an NPC. You'd better check in the mirror. Is that really you?
this is too dystopian my job is over bruh 💀
No it's not, you're just getting started! Machines shouldn't destroy your passion no matter what or we are going to becone like the robots.
@@kaizerapa1814they destroy the ability to make money from it
it's at its worse rn that's the best (or worse for some) part lol
With great songs being so accessible, a strong artist ‘brand’ is what is truly going to make you stand out. It's more crucial now than ever I think.
I am ready to ditch apple music spotify etc for this. It can make whatever the songs I like the most, cheaply. With slightly adjustments, those songs suit me better than any human bands could do.
Totally in love with suno's capabilities damn good.
It's even more crazy, it makes swiss german songs. we have like a dozen dialects, it understands all and can sing in them. Also austrian dialects, and german dialects.
W swiss german
Wow lol this is nice have to give it a try
It also knows Cantonese, which is generally considered a pretty difficult language
I can’t believe how good this stuff is. Those melodies are legit. There’s dynamics in the arrangement. The future of music is nuts
My first exposure to AI music generators. AMAZING. I tried out V2 and it already blew me away. I'm going to try a paid plan for a few months just to play with it.
Daaaaamn, this is crazy good. I already used v2, but this is becoming truly musical.
Always quick, hope you cover that EMO video ai next.
planning on it!
@@MattVidProsir can i distribute my suno ai songs to distribution platforms like distrokid, tunecore and many more? is anyone known about that?
Nice Video, can't wait to see a more coherent version of this model.
as someone whos learning music production, i see potential in inspiration and sampling with this suno ai, most songs are bad or generic or plain loops but some of it with good prompting can give u something to sample or base an idea
This is sooo insane! I cannot
Wait for this to be put into
Every phone!
Your head was Bobbin real good Holmes ,great stuff ,keep doin ya thing dawg !
OMG Matt! You have a very Unique dance or headbob! 😘 Great Video as always!
Finally, we were waiting for this video and wanted to try it for free
whoaaa its improved so quickly!!
I think the real weakness here isnt the AI but the lyrics its provided with. Some structures seem to throw it off rhythm.
Love these music sample videos ⚡
The instrumentals especially with version 3 are mind blowing at times! I love to work with them😁 if this is the alpha version I don't know what the full version will be like
Oh, those goose bumps spontaneously appearing 🎉
Been having a lot of fun with it myself for the last months and it works great in combination with using local Llama models for lyrics.
This will be cool to have running uncensored on a local server and generating a steady stream of content with the ability to "change the channel" to different genres on the fly.
Matt, the lyrics from the sample song you played at the beginning titled "make a song about the moon" have all the classic Suno generated keywords in it. I'm not kidding. I have multiple multiple songs that have that have the same rhyming words.
Has anyone else recognised this?
It is a bug in all LLMs. They keep using the same words and expressions ad nauseam. They are very repetitive.
@@cesarsantos854 what about the voices in suno? I'm hearing the same in regards to that as well.
@@Cross-CutFilms Probably the same case as the text or maybe they used a smaller set of voice samples to generate theirs.
the instrumental feature is really cool as well!
i love that everytime you listen to the result you smile so wide 😅
ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY INCREDIBLE!
What a FUN A.I program to make songs. Looking forward to their FREE version. Hopefully soon?? Thanks 4 sharing Matt. Cheers !!😎😎😎
This is crazy The advancement in AI audio is nuts
Not only is the audio quality better with less artifacts but its also way more musical. Thats very good
Yeah, Suno is great if you have really good lyrics, it's really really good at adding emotion and pacing the lyrics really well with the music .. top notch.
I didn't expect it to have gone so far.
Very cool. It's getting close.
Thank you!! ❤
Wow. I have no words for how good this is
I thought 'no way AI could make a fast, brutal death metal song', and sure enough it knocked it out the ballpark
That last country song was nearly perfect, I actually got goosebumps. First time ever
This is wilddddd
Yeah, this is amazing.
Love your joy on he songs :)
Is it possible to prompt a short melody i.e. humming or sheet of music (so not via lyrics, but maybe additionally with descriptions), so the AI extend it to a longer song with Suno or another AI?
That groovy psychedelic rock trippy song called Lemon empire is literally stuck in my head, it's so good. 11:20
The songs sound great but for some reason the songs cut short of the custom lyrics I enter. Is there a way to make it compose songs the use all the lyrics I enter?
Cant wait for the free version!
Suno V6's gonna be lit!
I'm really hoping they can eventually give us some control over whether it generates a music intro before the lyrics start. Too many times I get lyrics that start on the first note where I was hoping for at least 8 bars of an epic intro or something lol... Great video tho, and I'm excited for the future of Suno! :)
I use Suno in some of my gaming videos as well!
Damn that's impressive stuff :)
this is probably good for writing jingles or making background music where licensing is required if u used music from real artists. dont see it overtaking mainstream or underground music any time soon because there are so many current trends and styles that this ai sounds dated when compared to it. but its definitely a cool tool.
You're onto it, I recently lost a portion of my job due to this exact AI in fact, but only for the "car radio" whereby they didn't want to pay me or other humans to make songs for the radio due to the cost and hard (very enjoyable) work for all of us involved. Yes it’s incredible Suno
Thanks for this. Can I ask whether they've upped the download quality or is it still 128 MP3?
15:12 is jaw dropping!
The second variant was not just good - it was damn GENIOUS!!! its a ready HIT!!
Sound fidelity of v3 sounds almost mastered
Actually liked these. The lemon song would have been perfect if it was called “Lemonopoly.”
OMG. I just subscribed to the service. It's scary good.
Damn that song about the moon really slaps 🌕
Breaking free 1 is a legend! I heard it, and I was like are we even safe in 10 years from now with this smart ai stuff
I am also blown away with V3. Started using V2 when I first heard about Suno AI and have absolutely fallen in love with it. I've been getting some really amazing results from V3 that I'm starting to ask the community to make votes on the shorts that I upload of the different versions to help me decide which becomes the full song. If anyone wants to check it out I'm uploading more as I go on my channel here. Thank you @MattVidPro for doing these videos cause if not for your videos popping up on my home feed then I'd probably have never known the joy of using Suno this soon.
I don't think most people understand precisely how good this is, relative to the time in the marketplace, and relative to the entire 'home recording' industry. In the recent past (10 years, say) there have been HUNDREDS of attempts to turn written words into PC-based sung lyrics, with many different strategies. Not a single one EVER came within a MILE of the quality of this output, even given the glitches and hallucinations. We are VERY close to producing professional quality pop songs with AI...It's a brave new world my friend...Peace.
You are never allowed to sell any of the music you create there! You also are not allowed to use it in any commercial environment, so if you use it on youtube where you "monetize" your videos ,...You better don't have any of the music from Sona on it..!! -- he fails to talk about this being solely for private use in your room.... and absolutely nothing else...
The songs are actually in stereo! Sometimes you get some super cool stereo effects. May have been accidentally stripped out in the video capture.
Wow, first time when I press the mono button on my Big Knob, listening the Suno tracks they sounded like having more depth and definition. 😮
wow 5:30 is impressive and the moon song too. omg that are ALL incredable
It's forward-looking and cool.
I WANNA BUY THIS SONGS, UAU amazing. surreal.
Thks for the video I'm amazed at these music generator s
hey.... i was looking for instructional information here..... all i did was listen to prompt results. how about some detail on prompts [.....] and how use them... how to put the versions together.... creation of instrumental and putting a song over top....
WHATTTTTT THIS IS SO COOL
FAC i cant get access to v3 , is there any open source ai like this ?//
Damn, some of those golgi x mito punches gave me shivers. They're definitely going in the right direction.
What I would like is the music generation, but with real-time graphics effects and or video synth so you can jam to a custom music video.
Still sound pretty robotic to my ears, but it is definitely getting closer! I am excited by this progress.
Is there a way to have *multiple singers singing together* in a song that we generate with Suno AI? Can we specify that we want multiple singers (including the type of voice that we want each singer to have), and pick what parts of the song each singer will sing?
Creating the perfect music video with AI is an exciting concept that opens up a world of possibilities. Here's how AI could contribute to the creation process:
1. **Content Generation**: AI algorithms can analyze the lyrics and mood of a song to generate visual concepts and storyboards for the video. This could involve creating scenes, characters, and visual effects that complement the music.
2. **Visual Effects**: AI can be used to enhance the visual effects in the video, adding elements like CGI, animations, or special effects to create stunning visuals that synchronize with the music.
3. **Editing and Post-Production**: AI-powered editing tools can automate the editing process, making it easier to synchronize the video with the music, adjust timing, and apply effects seamlessly.
4. **Personalization**: AI algorithms can personalize the music video experience for individual viewers based on their preferences and interests. This could involve dynamically changing elements of the video to match the viewer's mood or taste in music.
5. **Real-time Interaction**: Imagine a music video that responds to viewer input or changes based on external factors like the time of day or current events. AI could enable real-time interaction and customization, creating a unique experience for each viewer.
6. **Collaboration and Co-Creation**: AI tools can facilitate collaboration between artists, directors, and producers by streamlining communication, generating ideas, and providing feedback throughout the creative process.
By harnessing the power of AI in these ways, it's possible to create music videos that are visually stunning, emotionally engaging, and tailored to the preferences of individual viewers. However, it's essential to ensure that AI is used responsibly and ethically, respecting the rights of artists and creators while pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation.
great content as always, but i noticed that we cant input long lyrics or have more that 1mn long songs, how to overcome this?
I want the instrumentals and split them. I’ll use the vocals as reference. I have artist coming in the studio just humming and mumbling😅. This will get them over the writers block.
Some of these are almost listenable. But the people who think this is going to replace real musicians anytime soon are delusional.
@Matt why is it still all mono? Whats the thing? Do you have a clue? Cause otherwise it sounds really cool and organic, but being mono renders it completely unusable in any commercial sense. Is it perhaps by design, so that it CAN'T be used commercially at this stage?
V2 wasn't mono...is V3? Or perhaps it's just Matt's video?
This is insane.
I like this so much
