I'm an established market gardener thinking of shifting from markets to a CSA model. So im looking at you tube vids to research....and I hear Fugazi? Nice. I'm also an old punker. Saw them 30+ years ago, so memorable.

Agriculture is still a strong mainstay of any economy. No matter the technological advancement, people will still each. eating is not about just any food but it is about good food.

We need more CSA's. More community gardens. Teach our kids to grow food and tend to gardens at school!

A brilliant film. CSAs seem to be a great solution to so many issues. I chanced upon Caetan when on holiday in the Gower (we were visiting the Heritage Centre), but I didn't get the chance to see the farm. Maybe one day! Keep up the good work guys!

this video is so informative! i am an indonesian college student and i've been doing my bachelor research thesis about CSA, study case at Peace Farm. Peace Farm is a local permaculture Farm at Yarra Valley, Victoria, Australia. They run CSA, organic nursery, and wellness centre. and its really such a great experience being an intern (its about 3 months) and really doing CSA things from A to Z. CSA is a really great social economic concept it is a brilliant idea, even though there is a lot of challanges too that need to be faced by CSA farmers.

Have the land and the desire, as well as perennial crop which forms a base of income. That last leap (grant help) is what is lacking here in the U.S. Am not able to dedicate full time to such a project, but certainly am willing. Those who get grants and loan payoffs have an insurmountable advantage over those who (for being of a wrong demographic) are capable and desire such a program. We must toil in our "day" jobs to pay the bills, thus having to leave our dream on the sideline. As Francesca would say have that positive attitude, I am good there, but costs are payable every month.

Do you put enough for one meal per week? Or enough to make 5-7 meals per week. I am completely new to this and would like to know as much as I can.
