+Johnathan Salazar believe it or not this is legit. on these cars when swapping a manual transmission from a 540i, m5 or even a 740i from europe that came with a 6 speed you have to wire the automatic transmission selector switch. depending on how you wire it it will either show this which is the correct way to wire it that wont show a cel or "trans failsafe prog" warning. the other way is like mine all ghetto by leaving the switch in place but leaving it in "neutral", this way you will get a cel, the trans fail safe warning and the gear indicator will show that you are in no gear at all.

its been converted to a manual gearbox and its alot of hassle adapting the cluster and harness to suit :D

you could do that with M30, e30 chassis is light so it doesn't need a lot of power to accelerate
