My wife claims to be tone deaf and she got 100% right. I've played Trombone for years, sang in the church choir, and I sing for residents at a convalescent hospital, and I missed one of the questions about resolution. Guess I have some work to do. I've always told my wife that she had a good voice and all she needed was some training. Maybe now she might believe me.
Maybe she just can't sing and uses that as an excuse it's what I do I'm a horrible singer and 15% hearing loss and I still got 100% on this
I was convinced I couldn't sing but thought I'd try singing in a church choir. I was really discouraged by the end of the first practice because I couldn't find or hit the notes at all. I was all over the place. At the end, the choir director spoke to me and told me to sit with the tenors the following week. I'm a woman and had sat with the altos with the sopranos behind me that first practice. The following week I sat with the tenors with the bass behind me. Suddenly, I could sing. Perhaps your wife just needs to discover her range.
@@ellwoodblooz resolved/unresolved in this context really refers to what scale or chord tone the melody ends on in relation to the chord. Certainly chord tones have certain weight. It's not subjective. It's actually math.
The questions about resolutions require a bit of knowledge with chords and cadences. When I end any music on perfect cadences, it leaves a pleasant feeling lingering behind after. In interrupted or unresolved cadences, it simply makes you feel unsatisfied or confused like "is that it? Are there No more melodies or chords left to end what was just played?"
Gets even easier when the learner keeps listening or practising scales. Most unresolved chords or endings seem to occur in songs using the minor scales and in some rare cases, even in the majors.

I got 9 out of 10. Been told I was tone deaf. Music teacher in 5th grade asked me to lip sync because I sang flat. That was in the 60's. Listen to music dailly--all genres. Dad was a performing Opera singer then later a graphic illustrator. I consider myself very lucky to have learned to love music, and all the arts.

Tone deafness definition is false and a total myth! It's all about the way different people process information!
Really sad that they told you to lip sync instead of trying to fix the flatness (which can be done with practice imo). I'm sorry they did that but glad you can still appreciate music. I tend to sing flat as well but learned some tricks that help because my choir teacher in high school was so amazing. I'm still friends with him many years later. (I won't say how many. lol)
I can’t sing a note either but I’m not tone deaf. I can hear it sounds bad. I just can get my voice to make the note that I want. I wish I could as I live music and would love to sing along to it but it sounds so bad that I don’t.
How teachers can demotivate children like this. My first day in school, the teacher said "we are going to check each of yalls rhytm, clap with 1 second between every clap" at 4 years old I did exactly that, she gave me a bad grade.. I wanted to be a musician when I was 4 already, so I was very upset. Later when dancing in bars men also told me "you can't dance, you have no rhytm" while others told me I dance so beautifully. This year, at 38 years old, I finally started to do what I've always loved and wanted to do. Now I play guitar, sing, drum and can play any instrument and write beautiful music. Still shy, hiding myself in forests, but the other day someone walked by and yelled "WOW!" I immidiately stopped playing, because I thought they were annoyed by me, but when I came home and listened to the recording I actually heard the "wow!", long story short, teachers should uplift.
My late husband was totally tone deaf.
We were dancing at a Christmas party, and he was singing the song quietly.
He never changed the note - totally monotone.
I will say that neurodivergent people may also sound monotonous but not be tone deaf, it’s just a difficulty to understand when and how it is supposed to be used, or there may be a delay in changes in tone. I don’t have much inflection or change in my voice unless I try very hard to do so in a way that feels very unnatural or forced, but I still did well on this test and can still mimic pitch when I need to, but if he genuinely couldn’t differentiate it then that would actually be tone deafness.

I scored 9/10. I made a mistake in the harmony category. I am not a musician but I grew up in a family of musicians. My father sings and judges singing competitions. I remember my father pulling me aside when I was little after a family karaoke, because he wanted to test how good my ear is. I have always had a really good ear for music, but I can't sing or play any instruments. I feel like blaming tone deafness is just an easy out for people. In my case my voice sounds horrible and I just suck in general.

Here's one thing about being supposedly "tone deaf" - I've been told on multiple occasions that I must be tone deaf since I can't carry a tune. The thing is, I can very clearly HEAR that I can't carry a tune, which in itself is a result of some form of slackness in my vocal chords (never bothered me too much as I never had any musical aspirations). But doing this test out of sheer curiosity I ended up with 10/10. So I have to conclude that if anyone ever tells you you're tone deaf, you probably aren't, and that person is probably just a jerk.
I think my singing voice is effected by sinus issues and lack of training. I played piano for 5 years but like you, I can tell when I sing a note wrong.

Like, my dad has perfect pitch but he won't cringe when I sing. But if ANYONE else sings slightly off pitch it will DEFINITELY bother him.
Basically, he's never *trying* to be a dick...but he can DEFINITELY come across that way. And I'm obviously an exception to the rule, due to the fact I am HIS daughter and I have a college education involving music lmfao

Tone deaf...to be used for those who can't sing on pitch is erroneous...unless they can't tell they're off! Then they are unable to perceive or produce the correct sound/tone, etc.
Those who can't produce, but can perceive accurately...should NOT be called tone deaf! It's an inaccurate conclusion.
Exactly! That has more to do with vocal technique which is actually pretty easy for most people to learn if it's taught correctly (from my experience it usually isn't). There are a lot more people who would be involved in and enjoy singing if this knowledge was more common
I got 8 of 10..I started to self-study playing a piano but I stopped momentarily due to various commitments and life happening..it is much better to have someone physically teaching you to know the right way
got 10/10 as a 14-year-old with no musical training; just an ear for music I suppose. i’ve always enjoyed singing and can match melodies quite easily with my voice, so this was a real delight!

@@anthonyfaiell3263 Excuse me, but how does that theory explain pop music being much more popular with young people than with older generations? It has been so for generations, so it's not just a choice of style. Rather I suspect it has with learning to do. As with food, you start out with rather simple tastes and develop a liking for the more complex material over time.
Kudos to you. As someone who values music almost more than life itself, I can't imagine being with someone who doesn't have the ability to play and sing like me. Being loved and admired for your musical talent only goes so far. I want to be able to share that with someone with like ear and ability.

As a 15 year old with no official musical training, I surprised myself by getting a 10/10. It helped a bit that everything was well explained, but it all also just made sense to me in a way.

I got 9/10. Slipping up on number 7, understanding tonality. Even though the music was quite happy in melody, I felt the tone was a sadder sound. Obviously, I was wrong.

I messed up on the same question for the same reason. It didn't sound inherently happy to me, lol. I think I probably wouldn't have gotten it wrong if I heard the next question first though. That one was more obvious to me. Oh well!

Got 10/10. I remember teaching myself to sing by mimicking artists on the radio, and learning harmony by listening to others in choir. I was taught piano and quickly started picking out melodies on my own just by listening. Wasn't familiar with resolved vs. unresolved as a concept, but I understood it once you explained it!
Sounds like perfect pitch and autism which I have, but I also was in band as a kid.
I am a musician, and I took the test just to see how you constructed it. The examples were very clear and you explained the concepts excellently. I rate your test 10/10. (I also scored 10/10, but I would have been shocked not to, given my decades of musical training.)
I too have decades of musical training and the major/minor always get me, even in college when I had to call major happy and minor sad… lol the rest are always easy but still not those!
@@MalissiaCreates Yeah, I don't think of major and minor as "happy" or "sad" either. I just hear if the seventh is raised. I doubt I could tell if a melody was a melodic or harmonic minor (but I can tell the scales apart).
Same though- i definitely wanted to see how this test was constructed 100% with my almost 30 years of experience in music, I'm not surprised I got a 10/10 but then again, it wad determined from a young age that i also had perfect pitch so i would have actually been pretty pissed if i got any wrong bc that would mean my age is showing with my ears going bad lmao

I got all 10 correct. Sometimes people are incorrectly called tone deaf because they can't sing a matching note-- they sing out of tune. The ability to sing in key is quite different from the ability to hear the notes correctly. Anyway, long ago was told I was tone deaf when I hired a teacher to learn to sing. After the first 15 minutes, she wouldn't take me as a student because she said I was tone deaf.

I'd assumed for years that I couldn't sing. I decided to find out the truth, and enrolled for singing lessons My teacher asked me to sing various notes she played on the piano. She then asked me to sing a song I liked. I was amazed to be told that there was nothing wrong with my sense of pitch - my singing went off-key because my technique was faulty. Once I'd studied how to breathe properly with proper posture, and how to check that I was using the correct muscle groups, my singing improved by leaps and bounds. I don't sing off-key now, thanks to my wonderful teacher.
I think you should seek out another teacher. Check that the person you choose is a properly qualified professional, and qualified to teach singing.

I always struggled in music class as a kid. It felt like trying to learn a foreign language! I still can't retain information about scales and notes. On this test, I did fine with levels 1 and 2, but only got about half of them right on the Harmony, Tonality and Resolution sections.
Not a musician, but still had a perfect score. You really had some great explanation. It's super weird, because I am literally tone deaf when it comes to my own voice. I'm a teacher and one of the things I struggle a lot is using the tone of my voice because to me my voice sounds completely monotone when I'm speaking, yelling, singing, etc. It's only when I listen back a recording that I recognize my use of tone.

I grew up being told I was horribly tone deaf. So in response I never bothered to learn any instruments or singing. As I got older I realized all the people that told me that were just trying to bring me down.
Never let anyone tell you that you can’t be or do something you love, let that drive you to be the best and prove them wrong!
i doubt they were trying to bring you down. more likely they just didn't want to hear it. people have a tendancy to not tolerate stuff that is audibly annoying to them. i'm sure with (lots) of time my sister could probably learn to sing , but as it stands she can't carry a tune in a bucket witha truck holding it for her. And I as a musician find her efforts to be like nails on a chalk board. and i can't stand to hear her try to sing for even 10 seconds. i literally have to leave the room to keep from saying any thing to her.
Absolute superb advice! So many people just don't want to work on themselves and be alone in their misery, that's why they bring others down. It is their calling card, not yours.

I did have some trouble with the harmony and resolution questions (could tell the difference, just wasn't sure which was supposed to be which) but I'm pleased I'm not quite as tone deaf as I'd assumed..
Speaking of my old music teachers, I suspect they didn't have much patience (they probably wanted pretrained students) and insisted I was tone deaf. I wasn't the only one, so unsurprisingly we were short of musicians..
My mistake, I guess. I always found it odd that I noticed differences in sound but assumed other people could hear something I couldn't (which does sometimes seem partly true. Also dog alarms tend to give me a massive migraine but no one else I know seems to be affected).
I wish I'd come across this video years ago...

It actually makes me feel a lot better (there's a lot of stuff currently in my life having the opposite effect) and now I'm thinking of getting a new hobby.
My brother is partially tone deaf but he and we (my family and his wife) have no problems with it. His singing sucks and he can't improvise on the guitar. He can reproduce songs on the guitar by memorizing but cannot play anything outside of his repertoire (basically any random chord progression or any melody). He sings mostly out of tune (mostly flat) and cannot tune the guitar by ear (he gets confused whether the notes ringing on two strings are the same or not). Despite his condition, he still plays guitar and sings albeit not on a stage. The point is to accept you might not be tonally gifted but can still enjoy creating and listening to music. I think the people telling you that you are tone deaf might just be stating an opinion/fact (unless they say it in a derogatory/condescending way).
P. S. I don't know whether my brother can train to sharpen his musical senses because I think he has never attempted to seriously "fix" his shortcomings. We just laugh every time he failed my personal tone-deaf test and don't bother about it again until I regain my curiosity (regarding his "deafness").
It might be that the people calling you tone-deaf were tone-death themselves. Elvis Presley's 8th grade music teacher told him he didn't have an aptitude for music. Elvis said Music was the only class he ever failed.

True tone deafness was once described to me as being unable to know who was calling you on the phone from the sound of their voice. i.e. your mom calls and you don't know it's your mom because to you her voice sounds no different than any other. Great little test here. I loved it.
That's curious! I always thought that tone deafness was more related to pitch, and not timbre, which would be the defining factor in recognizing someone's voice

So Tone Deafness, if this is true, is the hearing version of face blindness... Where you cant recognize people even if they're familiar just by their face. You have to actually hear them Talk or look at their clothing and such to be like OH HEY ITS TIM
@@BRNardy, I don't think that they literally meant "Tone deaf person can't recognise voices", but more like an analogy. You hear to notes and hear no difference, although they are not the same. People offen say that they're tone deaf without ever trying to develop the pitch.
I personally have gotten piano lessons like 11 years ago, stopped after around 4 and tried teaching myself everything I've forgotten 2 years from now. I struggle so much with making any progress and just playing the same 2 or 3 pieces I've built together over time, and knowing I could be so much better hurts quite alot.
I did score a 10/10 though so I didn't forget everything, and hearing these old topics my teacher used to mention so many years ago is a weird yet somewhat nostalgic feeling.

9/10. I play keyboard instruments and this test was very well put together. Before taking this test I just thought tone deaf meant that you couldn't recognize a certain note, and as a result I thought I was tone deaf. I'm glad you have clarified that for me.

Just want to say if you scored poorly the worst thing you can do is give up on music or your instrument. This is a skill that can be developed. A couple years back I surely would have failed this test and gotten most of them wrong. Through taking some music classes at university and teaching myself guitar my musical ear has improved massively, and yours can too. Glad that I’ve put in the work to music and was able to score 10/10 on this
I've been listening to music since I was in my mother's womb, so I kind of got lucky to have been born with an ear for music. It also helped me that my entire family loves music and raised me on various different genres even if it was mostly country, classic rock, and kids music.
Thanks - I cannot recite lyrics and I am a horrible singer. I was told by a music teacher that I was tone deaf and couldn't join the chorus (no auditions). I have great rhythm and all my life I've believed I was tone deaf. Thank you for this. 10/10 correct :)
As a Berklee student, this was very stressful. I got A's on all my harmony and ear training exams, but holy crap jazz has made me scared of b9's.
I scored 10/10.. I grew up in a singing family. And almost everyone in my family plays an instrument.. mostly guitar.
None, in our family, have been to school for music, it’s just a part of who we are. As you can imagine, our reunions are always musical!

I had a music teacher/choir director in high school who always said, “Anyone can learn how to sing,” and I remember him saying that there was no such thing as “tone deafness.”
He would always work with anyone having a hard time with pitch and put that person between two solid singers, so they could always hear the right notes. He’d spend a few minutes with them individually helping them listen to their own voices and “tune” themselves to meet the pitch of the music.
He was such a positive, amazing person who never let anyone feel self-conscious, and he got kids previously called “tone deaf” to sing on key! I was a little harder for some and took a bit longer, but rare teachers like that have some kind of magic that mixes in with their patience to get results.
Wish he was still around. Without him, I wouldn’t have ever had the guts to try to sing solos or try out for groups in college, and it’s been a part of my life since then that has kept me sane.
I too don't believe in tone deafness, its just the level of alertness of an individual. This kind of terms may discourage ppl if they are new to the field of music. Thanks for throwing light on this.
I love music and I got a 10/10 on this quiz, but I can't hear myself sing. Everyone tells me I'm terrible lol. It could be from ear infections as a kid, but who knows. I literally just don't know what I'm singing.
@@fictionaliza I have the same issue. Perfect score on this but when I sing I am frequently not only off key, but almost monotone. I had to record myself singing until I learned what right sounded like and it's still hard. I had so many infections as a kid I went deaf briefly. I have an audio processing disorder and I mispronounce words in my native language in addition to this issue. It feels can hear fine unless it's my voice or there's background noise. I just play instruments and keep my singing to myself.

I waa extremely insecure about my singing in my early 20s. My voice teacher told me i have a very good ear and that i need to trust that. Made a huge impact
You explained some of the concepts very well, I understood what unresolved vs resolved sounds like. Previously when teachers taught me those, I couldn't for my life understand what they was trying to explain.
I'm 22 years old with no musical training, and got 10/10. The test was pretty fun and I got to learn some terms that I never bothered looking up about music. Thank you!

My mother is actually clinically tone deaf, so growing up many people would misunderstand her when she spoke and she had a hard time picking up other's emotions through speech. There's literally nothing out there to help your Mom and others with this condition, is there? Prosopagnosia, aka face blindness, is somewhat comparable insofar as "normal" people don't understand the seriousness behind it; probably because they are unable to imagine that both really exist!
Having to explain something so complex over and over, possibly to really ignorant people... how frustrating for your dear Mom.
If you don't mind me asking: Is it the congenital or developmental (=acquired through an accident or illness) form, in your mother's case?

I find both conditions utterly fascinating, from a neutral perspective; I first heard of prosopagnosia when Crownprincess Victoria of Sweden (who is affected by it, as is her father) described how she manages her day-to-day life with face-blindness. I had never heard of such a condition before, let alone that the affected person isn't able to recognize their own face, either.
I got an easy 10 on this despite having no musical training due to your excellent explanations on this test, but I showed this to my sister, who I’ve always suspected was tone deaf, and she got a 3. The 3 she got were all complete guesses too and I could tell. I think I actually found someone who’s genuinely tone deaf.

@@jepz11 of course, but it would be a little sad if she ever wanted to pursue music in some way, even more so if she wanted to sing, although I'm pretty sure you can fix being tone deaf. I don't know how, but I'm pretty sure that if you look for it, you'll find the resources to do so, so at the end of the day it isn't anything that awful and it has a solution. After all, you can only fix a problem if you know what the problem is to begin with, so it'd be good that they were able to spot it
10 / 10 the explanations really helped me answer the questions almost instantly man great video. Only experience I got with music was the recorder and the marimba's in school.
So I took a dyslexia test earlier today and it is actually amazing how I found this very easy and intuitive. 10/10. I'm not a musician, but I did used to play guitar and always wanted to play piano.

Absolutely loved this video. I'm our relationship I'm the singer and my husband has always said he's tone deaf. I personally believe (like you) that it's not as common as people imagine. Turns out that what I am is...lacking in confidence. I was quite sure I got at least 5 wrong and was surprised every time I was right. Total score was 9/10 and I waffled on that one before writing the incorrect answer (I'm a....former musician? well out of practice, but used to play and sing when I was young, though never particularly well. Guess the basics stuck!)

I use to have perfect pitch and it actually hurt me ears when someone sang flat or even sharp. I got a 9 out of 10 correct …I missed on question #9. I was shocked that I didn’t hear it correctly but since I’m 80 yrs old I wonder if my ability is waning a bit. However, it was a fun and entertaining experience.😊
I also got #9 unresolved, but my explanation is that I'm a nice chappy
but if I were to write something that's unresolved I'd follow the text-book, but I can't remember ever consciously trying this out

I wanted to make it fairly obvious for the non-musician's ear. The melodies in fact "inspired" from super popular pop references.
The Major one's from that old tune "When the Saints go marching in", and the minor's from a really popular old school video game. Course I changed the melodies a little bit so it wasn't TOO easy :)

I was nervous when some answers were about to be mentioned, but overall I was pretty resolute with my answers, I'm glad I got all of them right. The explanations helped, and the drastic contrast between the given really made it easier to identify which was which. I'm not musically inclined and I've been having trouble finding the right note to voice out sometimes. When I do hum or sing a tone in my head, the trouble is when I sing it out, I have a hard time finding the right pitch for some notes but in my head, I know what it sounds like.

Scored 10/10. Had some music theory listens, started singing and learning violin 3 years ago until now. The test seemed so easy comparing to other musical ear tests. I'm still trying to find out if i have absolute pitch or not. My teacher said i might have but i miss the notes sometimes so I will keep training
being self taught it makes me really confident then i got a 9 out of 10, i guess the only thing i would need more understanding in is resolution but i’m sure with an hour of learning and practicing i could get it down and understand it pretty well, very glad to know that i can understand what’s what and be able to hopefully make some pretty good music if i ever get around to it

I had 10/10. My mom always told me I had musical talent, but I never believed her because my brother always teased me whenever I sang and I eventually became too embarassed to do anything related to music. I'm going to learn how to play guitar soon and my result gave me a little confidence boost :)
I’m a guitarist. The secret to guitar is consistent practice. It may seem hard at first, but it clicks eventually. Just 30 minutes of practice every day will do wonders after a few months. And once you learn a few songs, always finish a practice session with a song you like. Guitar is supposed to be fun. I know so many songs now that I can put in my earbuds, load up a playlist on my phone, and play along with it for 3 hours before I get tired.
And a tip if you’re interested in singing: Get a tuning app or guitar tuner with a microphone in it and sing into it while trying to reach certain notes. It’s the same principle as tuning your guitar, but you’re tuning your voice. This will make more sense once you learn how to tune a guitar. Our voices are instruments just like a guitar and some of us have to learn how to hit the notes while others just do it naturally.

I'm afraid to sing in front of anyone myself cause of those elementary teachers but you eventually will push past that fear and embarrassment and you'll be surprised with how much you put out from the soul. I believe in you and know well you will do amazing things with the music you'll bring into this world and to other's hearts!
I was always told I am tone deaf just because I can't sing (obligatory music education at school and my grandpa and mother's efforts). I was able to play some simple piano as a kid and know when I am wrong though. My little sister is a violinist and I kind of gave up when I saw her succeed at school in no time, while I struggled to read and learn a simple score (like a child song or whatever) and she understood the language of notal system in no time.
But in my adulthood I started to dance and I was sure it's all about rhythm and so on until it came to swing. The resolution and call and response concepts and music awareness is crucial in both social dance and competition! This test helped me realize that I hear a lot in the music, I hear and kind of understand patterns, I just can't repeat them so well with my mouth or hands, or pin it precisely on the scale. I can do that with my whole body though!

Learning music from professionals can sometimes be difficult as a non-academic and self-taught musician. I admire professional musicians who can explain things simply, as you did. I hope you never cease teaching people and making musical knowledge available to everyone!

10/10 for me. True tone deafness is pretty rare. Most people who claim to be tone deaf really just need practice with pitch recognition and tonal control. If a person was truly tone deaf, it would show in their speech. Their intonations, rhythms, and inflections would be completely off from the normal way of speaking, regardless of the language used.
Yup...people with true TD won't be able to communicate normally with punctuations etc.

My highschool literature teacher said that she was tone deaf. I had read somewhere that Steve Vai impressed Frank Zappa by showing him partitures of people's speeches, so I was aware of the tones in normal speaking, so... I didn't believe her. 🤣😂

I heard that Tony MacAlpine with his perfect pitch n guitar, tricked Steve Vai into thinking his phone went off one time.
I got full marks. Ive been told by my friends who sing a lot that im tone deaf and can't sing or play an instrument. I used to play guitar after hearing that made me discouraged as im very introvert and take others opinion in consideration a lot. After getting 100% here i might just start back with music. I've similarly struggled. After years I've begun to think I just can't hear myself properly. There's some mechanic in my skull/ears/whatever that causes some negative or weird harmonic. I have no basis for this besides years of frustrated rumination.

Have you tried to sing with earplugs (or your hands covering your ears)? It's easier to find piches in your voice this way, I was a terrible singer and practicing this way improved my technique a lot. After some time you'll not need the plug anymore

As a 17 years old girl with 6yrs experience inf singing....I really appreciate the way he give explanation to understand it better..i got 10/10/.. ...I still need a lot of improvement and seeing this video and my result it encourage me and help me boost my energy to learn more of it
As someone with barely any musicals knowledge, you explained the concepts very well! The major and minor part came up and I was very pleased to hear an explanation of what they were before I had to pick an answer. I only got one of those wrong which I’m pretty proud of as someone who had no idea what they were. The “tension and release ” analogy also helped me understand what the heck resolution was as well!
I got an 8 but if I was a bit more trained in musical theory (I struggled to read & remember the notes as a kid so I’d quit) I probably could’ve gotten a 10
I got 10/10, but it makes since, because I did study music for 7years, would have been extremely disappointed in myself, if it had been anything but. It's just been around 7years since I have done any music, so it's nice to know that I've still got it.
It all depends on how you do music and what you study too, ive been a musician for over a decade and got a 7 because my brains flooded with different modes, and uses of tension. Someone who is well studied in classical music would get a different score as someone well studied in Zamrock, for example, cause as the video says, art is subjective
@@pbgv399 yeah, i got the 9th question wrong. back then i learn a lot of music theory because i think it would be cool to do jazz and it screwed me up. when you get used to hearing dominant chords get altered to oblivion and then resolved to another floaty ass chord to be altered to oblivion once again, that 9th question sound resolved as sin.

I also got 8, I was in musical school once up to 3rd grade
I got 10/10! The hardest part for me was the resolved-unresolved. Helped to think whether the melody sounded like a finished or unfinished song.
9/10. #7 got me. It was hard me to hear the brightness of it until I heard contrasting 8’s lower part. It’s not as easy to distinguish as singing soprano or bass. Really great test. My choir teacher always said I was gone deaf because I don’t sing well, but I always did well in band because I did well learning and playing an instrument. So I always thought tone deaf meant you could not sing well nor could you hear that your voice didn’t sound good. I knew I didn’t sing well but but I’ve always loved music and grew up with music with musicians in the family. I wish I would have know what you just taught when I was younger. I probably would have more singing in the group and less just moving my lips. Thank you!
