Some certain features are not available in demo/trial versions of games. I remember playing this demo version on my HP Pavilion 710 CTO PC with Windows XP Home Edition on it back in 2002 (ah, the memories, and I do remember that line and found the part where Pep tries to land on the broken raft hilarious), but didn't have the full version of it yet until over a decade later in 2012.

Ever notice how HE characters are always self-aware that they're in a demo? How does that work? I mean, people don't just walk around a zoo in real life and say "I can't go there, this is the demo!"

This was the first PuttPutt game that I grew up playing and got to play the demo of it as well. Also I didn't even realize the title card at the beginning is different. It's also the prototype title.
@thomastrainful To be more honest I hate my old voice. I sounded extremely young for being a teenager, to the point where I was commonly mistaken for a girl. Plus, if my voice never changes, I'll never be taken seriously. Time moves on, and things change. I can't help it, and continually saying "I don't want it to happen" won't fix it.
Natively. Also, if you're thinking of Kenya's glitch about her tearing away, that's been known for a pretty heavy amount of time, but the devs have never gotten around to fixing it for whatever reason.
