OMG, I’m not alone!!! 😂 I keep watching these videos and thinking to myself: I can survive a few days with mesh panties and hospital towels, pillows and so on. It’s so much money saved and also laundry. Do you really want to wash all the stuff with a newborn?! I live in Austria and here, you have a closet in your room with as many hospital gowns, mesh panties, diapers, baby swadles... as you need. Why in the world would I want to start using up my own or washing all the towels, pajamas and so on when I come home. I’m bringing some socks, nursing bras, a cute robe to cover hospital gown and a going home outfit for me and my baby girl. Some necessary toiletries and THAT’s IT.
I got my bestie that same Kate Spade diaper bag (it had darker stripes with some red and blue since she had a boy). Super cute!
And I second using cloth diapers as burp cloths. I have a 12 year old and that was an old school hack. Every grandma would approve.
Don’t need to pack too much. Baby bag pack with so much extra stuff 😅 I love it!! I’ll probably be doing the same. Very little for me so much extra for the baby 😅

When do you suggest I get my braids done before babies arrival. The day I was suppose to get my braids done baby came a week early that day so I went to the hospital with my hair undone :( lol

I put newborn and 0-3months clothes.

They were actually a gift from my mother in-law. I believe she got them from Walmart.

Am I the only one that doesn't pack clothes? I just wear the hospital gowns until time to go home.

Dry Shampoo is not for our hair texture. You will look white and powdery.
Thanks for sharing this. My scalp can get quite oily when I have braid because I use Jamaican Castor oil regularly. It helps to not let the root knot/matte together, so the dry shampoo helps a ton for me. Plus when you’re in labor and begin pushing some ladies will find themselves sweating profusely, myself included.
