I really love that they remembered Corey has a brother who's so much younger than him in the sequal series (you know, unlike when they forgot Corey had a younger sister for a couple seasons during the original show).
Also there were two actresses who played Corey's sister. Both didn't really want to act anymore and they didn't want to pick one. When the series finale came up, they solved to have both come back in for one time role.
“I told you he was real!” That line is layered 😂 Shawn and Corey’s friendship has become so iconic that it’s borderline mystical/urban legend. Even in this show’s universe the kids didn’t believe such a relationship existed lol!!

Aparently they wanted to go into deeper story lines but Disney wouldn't let them and cancelled the show instead. I was hoping someone else would have picked them up but it didn't happen
They could easily bring this show back if they wanted to. They could put it on another network like fox too since it’s owned by Disney and they can get inter deeper topics and maybe more adult topics like boy meets world did a lot. It would make a ton of sense to do so but also depends if the same cast would be willing to

Boy Meets World was one of my favorite shows growing up (and Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Sister Sister, and many others). I really think that being a 90s kid was just amazing.. I wish I could go back and relive it at least for a day!

Lots of people change when they get older. Especially people that are very odd/weird when they are kids/teens. They often conform more to society when they grow up. Not always obviously, but a lot of them do. Also regarding Amy tbh I was re watching Boy meets world since episode 1 the last few weeks and Amy was always happy for Cory and Topanga because they loved each other. But she was never Gung ho about them getting married or loved Topanga so much she would be dying to have her as a daughter. She definitely had moments where she didn't see eye to eye with Topanga like their Christmas traditions, Topanga not moving away with her parents, Topanga asking Cory to marry her at high school graduation, and more. So this actually isn't that out of character.
The whole awfulness of this show was worth it to see everyone I love, especially in this moment! P.S. I say awfulness because it paled in comparison to the original but was still better than I anticipated!
The multiple times that I've watched this scene I just noticed that Josh was parking the car. I wonder if his parents let him do the driving from Philadelphia to New York. With his dad being the navigator obviously since it was probably the first time he drove to New York.
Too bad they couldn't convince Will Friedle to come back for this episode as Eric. He wasn't ready to do so at that point, but he did reconsider by Season 2.

This show sucked but all the moments with the adults and the return of the BMW old characters were pure magic.It gets you back to a special era when basically everything was better.
