  • Hey everyone. This video is a continuation of the 2014 Massimo MSU 800. We dig a little deeper to figure out what is causing this unit to be hard starting & what is causing the IAC motor & low voltage codes to come up on our scanner. Well I am sure as you can see from the thumbnail what the culprit is.

    That little screen filter behind drivers seat ,is clogged also, mine was thanks.

      I just shot a video on a 2012 Bennche Spire 800. If you check that video out you will see the location of the oil filter it is in the same location as the MSU 800 motor.

    i just bought an Axis 700 only 200 miles on it ive service it 3 times it started cutting out on way home last week so i replaced the fuel filter air again and seems ok it runs rough though at idle and under way u can feel it throughout aceleration .I dont know what to do ?? any sugg?? Its all digital dash and the idle drops from 1500 to 1400 1300 its all over

      Hey Jason. I would check a few things. I would check your valve clearances & cam timing. Also what controls your idle is you IAC motor that is mounted on your throttle body. Those things fail all the time even being new. You need to invest in a code scanner for it also. That way you can data stream & see if anything is out of place. oh one more thing try reseting your ecu. start up your unit let it get warm then hold the gas to the floor for 3 seconds & then turn the key off while you gas is still wide open. See if any of that helps.

    Hi brother I have masái o 2014 the oil turn white and blood water out of radiator and no spark can you give me ideas wats going on thanks

      Hey Juan. You could possibly have a bad water pump seal are a blown head gasket. If it's blowing water out of the radiator while cranking over it's most likely a bad head gasket. No spark could be from a back crank pick up sensor , ignition coil are bad spark plug cap , bad spark plug wire.

      No I didn't. The customer didn't want to spend the money to fix it at this time. I did 9ffer to buy the unit from them but they decided to keep it & may fix it later on.

    That’s just crazy. It seems like all the people who buy these Chinese side by sides have no clue about anything to do with owning one of these things. They just think they’re getting this great deal because they’re cheaper than the bigger brand names and then they take air filters out of them for whatever reason lol.
    You can’t have that much dirt in the intake and have the engine last for very long as we just seen.
    I had one of these that I bought brand new in 2010. They had all the ingredients to be a great machine but there were some serious issues with them. One being they like to run super hot so I was the first guy that put an oil cooler on one of these and the factory ended up seeing my posts online How good at work and they had it done themselves.
    Actually I think it was one of the dealers that went to the factory and ask them to build the oil coolers but that really helped them out and now I think they all come with them but any of the old machines definitely need one.
    They still ran really hot though and one of those Mishi Moto radiator’s for the Yamaha rhinos would probably darn near bolt right into that chassis and would make a huge difference and add so much more reliability.
    I never had any troubles with my engine at all even after i swamped it once.
    The throttle bodies warp on them when they get hot so wrapping the exhaust with muffler wrap helps quite a bit as well as engine ice coolant.
    Also if you leave the cover off and rev the engine you’ll notice that when you let off the throttle that intake boot will collapse.
    Maybe a radiator hose with the metal coiled up wire inside would help that.
