    Oh girl, been there done that more times than I can count. You learn to know these feelings and not be so resistant to going to the hospital.

    Hey sweet girl,I m.so sorry your going through all of this,it s definately a life changing experience for you but as you said all the medical staff are amazing so your in the best care.Plus your families a great support.
    I ve also been flown out after a life threatening experience and ambulanced to the hospital, then had to do the same the next day to a trauma hospital in the city. I loved the flights and even got to breifly see an angel side on.
    Look forward to your next video, sending lots of healing 💛💚🙏

    The love and support from your family will get you through the tough times with Crohn’s. I was diagnosed in 1993 when I was 19 years old. I was so sick for such a long time and the doctors told my mom that I was hours away from dying because of the hole in my intestine that was leaking fluid and it being in a knot. I understand the feeling of ‘I am going to wait out the pain because it may get better.’ It never does but with us being Crohn’s warriors we will overcome the challenges that life has given us! Have hope, faith and a little bit of ‘sick’ humor. 😊

    Sweety I have had the same surgery twice. I was told with the first one that repair would last 8 to 10 years and it lasted about 10 but because the HMO we have sucks I had to endure another 12 years on top of the 10. Surgery is a life saver. I should be good for about 8 years now. I never had to have a bag.

    I'm so sorry for you. I know exactly what you went through. I had a major surgery a year ago, and because of that ended up a year later with scar tissue that wrapped around my small bowel. Right about the longest drive and the pain!! Scar tissue is always now an worry for me. You are not alone.

    Hi, it’s amazing how God works. I’m Karla in Oklahoma and have Ulcerative Colitis and past few days have been in so much pain and you know the rest. ( unfortunately) anywho, I stumbled onto your video.
    You are so blessed to have had such an amazing medical team. If you had not told your mom when you did, things could have really gotten worse. So glad you swallowed your pride and told her about your pain.
    Your a beautiful young lady and can’t wait to see how well you are doing!!! Don’t let Pride kill you. Humbling ourselves can be so very healing in itself.

      @@bsimon8652 Hi Vicki. So glad to hear from you. I was a nurse/ Cardiovascular Sonographer for many years.
      Yes, we should get together and talk. UC is not any fun either. A nurse that I worked with for years, her husband had Chrons so very bad. He was such a sickly young man, but continued to work etc. he also ended up having to have his colon removed and a colostomy bag. He in his 40’s didn’t make it. But was such an inspiration to so many.
      UC is almost as bad. I have an area ( partly the sigmoid and further past that is no longer working it. No peristalsis. I went to see a Dr today as I now know I have a bladder infection which I’ve not had since my teens. At 61 I thought it was my back and nope. Omgoodness I woke up this morning and it hurt something horribly to tinkle. So very much pressure and spasms. Got to my Drs office for them to tell me they were closed as their phones/ computers etc had been down for over 1-1/2 hrs. So could not see Pts and no test could be ran. So now have to wait til tomorrow am.
      I’m east of Tulsa.
      Hope to hear from you and we can exchange numbers possibly and visit. Do you have a good Gastroenteroligist? Mine sucks.

    I was diagnosed when I was 14. I’m now 56. I also have lupus, RA, Fibro, and stage 4 kidney disease. You wouldn’t know it if I didn’t tell you though! I’m not on any meds for my Crohns etc either and I eat what I want. I have had sepsis twice though in the last couple of years so I’m dealing with that.

    So was it the popcorn?

    • @Morgan.Memories
      @Morgan.Memories  Pƙed rokem +1

      i think it was a mixture of things including the popcorn. Everything i was eating was blocked and couldn't pass through all of the scar tissue, but popcorn is more likely to cause a blockage since the kernels don't digest. I'm being more cautious now!
