How it all started: (0:00)
Going to the Hospital: (5:42)
Being Life Flighted: (7:50)
Oh girl, been there done that more times than I can count. You learn to know these feelings and not be so resistant to going to the hospital.
Hey sweet girl,I m.so sorry your going through all of this,it s definately a life changing experience for you but as you said all the medical staff are amazing so your in the best care.Plus your families a great support.
I ve also been flown out after a life threatening experience and ambulanced to the hospital, then had to do the same the next day to a trauma hospital in the city. I loved the flights and even got to breifly see an angel side on.
Look forward to your next video, sending lots of healing đđđ
You are so incredibly brave. You have going and gone through so much. I wish you all the best and will continue to follow your journey.
Thank you so much! It means the world
You're young you are a very strong & willing girl sounds like, hang in there everything will work out for the best our prayers are with you â€ïž
Thank you so much Mary!â€ïž
The love and support from your family will get you through the tough times with Crohnâs. I was diagnosed in 1993 when I was 19 years old. I was so sick for such a long time and the doctors told my mom that I was hours away from dying because of the hole in my intestine that was leaking fluid and it being in a knot. I understand the feeling of âI am going to wait out the pain because it may get better.â It never does but with us being Crohnâs warriors we will overcome the challenges that life has given us! Have hope, faith and a little bit of âsickâ humor. đ
Thank you!! Itâs nice to hear from others who have gone through the same thing! And I am sorry you had to go through All of that! I hope and pray that hinge start looking up for all of us!
Sweety I have had the same surgery twice. I was told with the first one that repair would last 8 to 10 years and it lasted about 10 but because the HMO we have sucks I had to endure another 12 years on top of the 10. Surgery is a life saver. I should be good for about 8 years now. I never had to have a bag.
I'm so sorry for you. I know exactly what you went through. I had a major surgery a year ago, and because of that ended up a year later with scar tissue that wrapped around my small bowel. Right about the longest drive and the pain!! Scar tissue is always now an worry for me. You are not alone.
Thank you! And I am so sorry you had to go through that!! Hopefully things will start looking up for both of us!
You have two very important things on your side, you are young and your body is healing quickly and your positive attitude will also help you heal quickly (Scientifically proven)!!! SoooâŠ.keep on taking care of yourself and u are going to heal and live a very happy and healthy lifeđđ
Thank you Lisa! I am sure trying to stay positive and while itâs hard at times, I have felt better!!â€ïž
Sending you big hugs and prayers â€ïžđâ€ïž
This same thing happened to me. I'm praying for you. I've had a colostomy for 11 years now. Best wishes â€ïž
Iâve had an Ileostomy for over 23 years. đ
Hi, itâs amazing how God works. Iâm Karla in Oklahoma and have Ulcerative Colitis and past few days have been in so much pain and you know the rest. ( unfortunately) anywho, I stumbled onto your video.
You are so blessed to have had such an amazing medical team. If you had not told your mom when you did, things could have really gotten worse. So glad you swallowed your pride and told her about your pain.
Your a beautiful young lady and canât wait to see how well you are doing!!! Donât let Pride kill you. Humbling ourselves can be so very healing in itself.
Thank you so much Karla!! You are truly so sweet and Iâm sorry you are in so much pain!! I hope you get answers and relief soon because it really is the worst!!!
@@Morgan.Memories yes it is. Donât want to leave the house. Itâs so difficult to find a good Gastroenteroligist. Iâm so glad that you are feeling better sweetie. Keep us posted
Karla, my name is Vicki and also live in Oklahoma. I have collagenase colitis and RA. Get back to me Ă nd we can talk. I was a nurse.
@@bsimon8652 Hi Vicki. So glad to hear from you. I was a nurse/ Cardiovascular Sonographer for many years.
Yes, we should get together and talk. UC is not any fun either. A nurse that I worked with for years, her husband had Chrons so very bad. He was such a sickly young man, but continued to work etc. he also ended up having to have his colon removed and a colostomy bag. He in his 40âs didnât make it. But was such an inspiration to so many.
UC is almost as bad. I have an area ( partly the sigmoid and further past that is no longer working it. No peristalsis. I went to see a Dr today as I now know I have a bladder infection which Iâve not had since my teens. At 61 I thought it was my back and nope. Omgoodness I woke up this morning and it hurt something horribly to tinkle. So very much pressure and spasms. Got to my Drs office for them to tell me they were closed as their phones/ computers etc had been down for over 1-1/2 hrs. So could not see Pts and no test could be ran. So now have to wait til tomorrow am.
Iâm east of Tulsa.
Hope to hear from you and we can exchange numbers possibly and visit. Do you have a good Gastroenteroligist? Mine sucks.
I know exactly what you talking about and I feel for you. I've lived with Crohns disease for 30 years and had three re-sections. Your story brings it all back to me. Wishing you all the best.
Thank you! And Iâm sorry youâve had to go through that!
@@Morgan.Memories We know we wouldn't wish that pain on our worst enemies. You strong and courageous and I'm so proud of your attitude towards everything. Depression is something you'll go through as our bodies are unable to make enough serotonin so please look after yourself. Following your amazing story. Stay strong , you special.đ€
You look beautiful and healthy, Iâd say you are doing really well. Best wishes!
Thank you! Itâs been a long time coming but I finally am feeling a bit better!
I was diagnosed when I was 14. Iâm now 56. I also have lupus, RA, Fibro, and stage 4 kidney disease. You wouldnât know it if I didnât tell you though! Iâm not on any meds for my Crohns etc either and I eat what I want. I have had sepsis twice though in the last couple of years so Iâm dealing with that.
Wow youâre not in any meds? Thatâs amazing! Hopefully things will keep looking up for you!
You sound like an amazing young girl with your whole life ahead of youâŠyou are in my prayers đđ» I cannot evenâŠI have Gastroparesis & IBS and Iâm nauseated, throwing up a lotâŠđ
You are so sweet! It is definitely hard at times but Iâm just trying to figure out my new life with this disease!! I hope you can get relief from your sicknesses soon!
It makes me so sad you had to think about insurance and organising things I'm in Australia I wouldn't even think about it all I have to do is sick back and the doctors and nurses do what they need never thjnking of cost. It seems you weren't seen sooner or anything even though you are paying so much. I hope your okay now
It is definitely frustrating at times. But Iâm figuring it out! And I am doing much better now!
So was it the popcorn?
i think it was a mixture of things including the popcorn. Everything i was eating was blocked and couldn't pass through all of the scar tissue, but popcorn is more likely to cause a blockage since the kernels don't digest. I'm being more cautious now!
Pop corn oh no
i know, it really was a huge mistake! I guess mistakes are there for us to learn from them right?
@@Morgan.Memories right glad your doing OK now
I've been life flighted 5x, ambulance a lot.
Awe man Iâm so sorry! Itâs only happened to me this one time but thatâs enough for a lifetime!
NO!!!! NOT POPCORN!!! My mom has diverticulosis. If she would eat popcorn, she'd die! Oh, young lady. What were you thinking? Oh well. Life can really stink a lot of times when one has serious health issues. I know that personally.
I regretted it immediately!
