Ha, I love the landing they show in the video. I've got 3 Bebop2 drones and NONE of them land that softly. The drone comes down to about 2 feet off the ground when you push the landing button and then it " crashes " the rest of the way down in a hard landing. NOTHING is soft about the landing.
Once again, Parrot shows or says one thing and the drone does another.
nmsidewinder How I've dealt with this is by making sure I land in soft grass or I even carry a patio furniture wide cushion in my trunk and land on that when it's time. It definitely takes the shock out of the cross frame. My next move is to cut a 4" thick foam camping mattress in half and use that as my landing pad. That would definitely be the softest landing solution. Like it would kill Parrot to add one more slider in it's piloting settings in the app to slow auto descent down to 1 centimeter per second or less. I still stick to my first prediction: They want Bebops to come down hard in hopes it breaks something.

What was the update that caused hard landings?? It would be awesome if the Bebop 2 landed that gently still!! Also please bring back easy stunts to the Bebop 2
Funny, I was just reading through the comments. Above yours, at the top of the list, another person was asking / commenting about the hard landing.
In this video it does look like it would be the softest landing ever, but seeing that you and at least one other person likes differently, I will trust your experience before I would trust the manufacturer.
Wow! I wish Bebop auto- landings REALLY were that smooth as this video shows. The reality is that they come down quite hard. Such a simple fix for Parrot to do yet they don't fix this. Maybe they purposely want the frames to break to make more sales for this part. Sketchy.
Better fix? Lower the vertical speed of the drone. Turns out, companies needn't hand-hold their customers through every little issue, you just have to take 3 seconds to do it yourself instead of demanding they do software patch.
Schad Dalton you obviously have NEVER flown a Bebop 2 before. If you have, you'd understand how stupid your comment just was.
Of course they want the frames to break .. Have you ever added up the cost of ALL the parts for the Bebop2 drone, it comes to over $900 if you by all of them from Parrot's website. I just bought 2 bebop2 on sale for a third of that price. Now I have ALL the spare parts I need, and controllers. Although the controllers you get now are the cheap knock off Skycontroller 2P (buyer beware on those because if the battery goes bad you can't find a replacement anywhere on line not even Parrot parts).
nmsidewinder i totally agree. I want to buy another for spares too. Where can you buy a new Bebop 2 FPV for $300? Parrot advertised them for that at Fathers day on their website but then right after went back up to $399.
Not sure if they are still on sale but check out Best Buy.

With a fully charged battery, why does the Wi-Fi signal change from excellent to poor while drone is a few feet in front of me, disconnecting the drone from my phone?

does anyone know the tune Bebop 2 integrate with Parrot Skycontroller, when I turn on them up then Skycontroller always turn the lights red, right out the blue control new Bebop 2 fligth, but it not on the blue ligth

Nicolas Hernandez It is listed in the settings section on your menu under vertical speed take off, this controls both the up speed and downward speed.
