জীবনটাই আপেক্ষিক ।নিরপেক্ষতা কি?কতটা পথ পেরোলে তবে নিরপেক্ষ হওয়া যায়। মানুষ প্রভাবিত হবেই। যা প্রত্যক্ষ করি তা সবটা করা যায় না, দেখলেও অনেক অদেখা থেকে যায়, বুঝলাম কিন্তু বহু জিনিস প্রকৃত বোধগম্যের বাইরে রয়ে গেল। জয়ন্তবাবু ঠিকই বলেছেন যে যা দেখলাম ও সরাসরি শুনলাম তা লিখে ভুল করলেও কোনো স্বার্থ বা দুরভিসন্ধি পিছনে কাজ করে নি। উদাহরণ দিয়ে তাই বললেন বরুন বাবুদের মাপের সাংবাদিকেরা ভুল করলে তা স্বীকার করতে পিছপা হতেন না । মানুষ ভুল করে, কিন্তু স্বার্থ ও ঔদ্ধত্য তাকে ভুল মার্জনা করার মতো বিনয়ী হতে শেখায় নি। আজকের সাংবাদিকতা ব্যাবসায়িক অন্ধ মেরুকরণের শিকার । খুব প্রাসঙ্গিক একটি আলোচনা। সমৃদ্ধ হলাম । 26:26 26:26

Following through decades,I find Gautam Bhattacharya the singlemost journalist whom as Bangali(By lingustics not by geography )we love to hear and see him writing. Perhaps with all bangaliana( sobriety, knowledge , simplicity and adda...) he belongs to that class and is the torchbearer of our beloved past journalists like Santosh Kumar Ghosh ,Gaurkishore Ghosh, Barun Sengupta......
I don't believe" everything was right in past and wrong now" kind of perception. Good and bad were there earlier as are now, only aspects change. Keeping this optimism in mind I would request you to keep on and expand what you are doing covering all areas(not only sports). It has leadership impact & teachership as well.
Whatever electronic modes are more & more being involved in journalism, I find print journalism at times is more expressive and communacating and will remain relevant forever.So, don't want to miss you there also.
Jayantababu has delivered well also. But some of his statements are not based on in depth analysis .
Politically true is not the truth all the time.
Also find why political journalism was/ is not a major area of interest of Gautambabu. Justified.

সাংবাদিকরা ঢুলু ঢুলু চোখে , নিজের ঘরে বসে সমীক্ষা চালায় বলে । ওইসব সাংবাদিকদের পদহ্রাস করা দরকার । আসলে এখন সাংবাদিকতা সস্তার পর্যায়ে পড়ে ।
ভুলের জন্য যদি বেশি টাকা পাওয়া, তাহলে ঠিক কোন পঁঠা করবে। উত্তর টা দেবেন। আপনারা যে কাগজের হয়ে সারাজীবন কাজ করে এসেছেন, সেখানে দেখেননি বিঞ্জাপন বিভাগের সঙ্গে news department এর কি সম্পর্ক ছিল। Recent ex. Why has the Editor of the Telegraph replaced by someone last year, tentatively October, 2023. The owner editor was there even 50 years ago. TOI has not been the only one. Pl. consult the political economy of the mass media. It was done by N. Chomsky and E.S. Herman decades back. It's not always true that owner-editor comes in the way of fair journalist. NYT is an instance contrary to the view you insisted on. There are so many good newspapers doing fair journalism notwithstanding having owner-editors.

সাংবাদিক সব দলের উর্ধে উঠা সঠিক, দালালি করবেন না। নতুবা ভুল কথা ছড়ানো বন্ধ করো।
যেমন আপনাদের বানান ভুল হয়েছে।
