No greens. Slaw, beans and potatoe salad only. But those are all delicious.

I have told how and why in some of the reviews but don’t remember which ones. I’ll try and remember to give a short story about that in one if my upcoming videos. What started out as home movies on vacation turned into full blown CZcams channel.

just watched the smokey pig review, cool to see your no-nonsense Dad. He was there to eat. You're definitely right it would save me hours of driving, I usually head east at Cave City, so Bowling Green is a minor detour. Thanks. I never even realized I go right through Monroe county to get to her place in central TN. Tompkinsville is right on my route, have been through there many times and never realized it had this special BBQ.

Would you happen to know if Heaton's is still in operation in Princeton? I used to travel the state, and that was always a pretty good BBQ hot spot! Also, I HIGHLY recommend you make it down to Tompkinsville for great BBQ options, and, of course, the legendary Dovie's Restaurant.

What positions did you and Kirk play on the team? You've eaten at several BBQ joints, which one in your opinion had the best beans? In the BBQ world the beans just never get enough love. The best I ever had was at Jack Stacks in KC, Missouri. The cook them in a big steel tub underneath the rotating smoker that smokes all of the meats and those juices drip down into the beans. They were incredible!
Monroe County pork shoulder is my favorite thing. The beans at Thomason’s in Henderson are the best I’ve had.
Kirk played offensive guard and I played defensive end.

No. It was great!
In this part of the video I know for fact that BBQ is not big in HAWAII we just call it is to grill something but it doesn't have to have BBQ sauce maybe just teriyaki sauce or just seasoned and grilled maybe in the military but it's not big and when I was going up my father never bought a gas BBQ unit just plain old charcoal and sometimes he would buy chips to smoke things but that was rare as the HAWAIIAN PEOPLE are not familiar with chips either straight or soaked in water either way it works usually hickory HAWAIIAN people tend to do different things or different ways as we have our own ways of doing things out in the islands far from the UNITED STATES right off California and Washington state

Good bbq dont need all of that sauce. When there is a lot of sauce on the meat, it is usually too hide or disguise the bad taste of the meat!

Teenagers in a back room mixing slaw in a big tub. It was considered the worst duty. So……….you can guess what took place.

Just trust me. Don’t eat the slaw. If a KFC employee gets placed on slaw making duty it is considered punishment. Enough said.
