Which is Better for Diamond Painting: Elizabeth Ward Storage System vs Knockoff AliExpress Huacan?

- Hey All! In this video I compare the original Elizabeth Ward Storage containers with its knock off counter part from Huacan on AliExpress. More specifically for Diamond painting. Can you tell the difference? Which would you prefer?
Edit: someone told me that the Elizabeth Ward Trays stack and the Huacan ones do not. So that’s good to know! I missed that in the first go around.

you could use the Huacan one for Special Drills where you often have less and you may also need it less often.

Hi! I have both EW and Huacan. The EW feels sturdier for sure, but I still use both. I also got the ones from Joanne’s and returned them, the were so cheap - the plastic was chipped and flimsy.
Good to know! I won’t be getting Joann’s then. Lately I’ve been disappointed with some of their stuff
I bought the JoAnn’s knockoffs about a year ago and I don’t have the EW to compare but I’ve had no issues with the knockoffs. They haven’t broken or chipped.
I didn’t know Joanne sold them, how much was it when you got those? I’ll have to go try those out and do a comparison as well
I've had the aliexpress ones for years. About 8 of them. No problems they work great.

I live in Germany and Here you have t❤o pay more than €100 for the EW. Huacan are €30. Guess which ones I have 😂😂 ❤ Thank you for your video
Oh my gosh that’s so expensive! Yeah way better to just get the Huacan in that case. They really are about the same quality

I have bought both the Elizabeth Ward brand and the knockoff ones I think I got mine from AliExpress a year or two ago. Personally I do not like the knockoff they have yellowed which I really don't like. Because it makes them look dirty and I am super OCD. I don't know if other people are having this issue with the knockoff ones or not and no I do not smoke. So I prefer the Elizabeth Ward brand and like you said the price is not much different from my experience the Elizabeth Ward ones have not yellowed over time which is a big thing for me. Not a fan of dingy yellowing plastic.
Oh interesting! That’s not something you would find out from just an unboxing so I really appreciate the input. Yeah that cements my opinion to just go for the real Elizabeth Ward

My AliExpress trays don't stack, but the EW ones do. That's the biggest drawback for me. The price wasn't that different.

@DiamondsAreAGirlsBestFriend16 I liked the idea of the flat handles, but the only way I can stack them is if they're unlatched which kinda defeats the purpose.

I think they both the same item. The EW order it all from China n repackage in the EW brand packaging
Very similar but not quite the same. And actually now that I’ve used them for a while I can tell the difference more. I’ll be doing another comparison video here soon with these and the Diamond Art club ones!
