Great question! It holds up pretty well. Quality is comparable to all high end bags. Maybe not Veto bags, who like to overengineer the crap out of their bags and end up too heavy, but it is still holds up pretty well. I use and abuse mine a lot and didn't get any tearouts, no cracks on the bottom tub, seams are holding up good. All in all, I haven't bought anything Commercial electric and felt sorry about it after.

I dont think the first strap is meant for hanging. Seems more like a tape holder.
I think you're right. If you load it to 25lbs with tools, the clasp would be too weak to carry the load.
