This one was my very first BABYMETAL song and it got me hooked from the first moment. So, it's very special to me.
I agree about the studio versions being something like a proof of concept being the live performances their finished product, so to speak. They are sometimes considered a live act.
Yes, we can consider the stage the fourth member (or fifth if we consider the Kami Band as well). Their big format productions (usually only in Japan) are something else (and every fan's dream) with crazy stages, lights show, pyro, etc. I hope to experience it myself very soon... 😁
About this particular choreo: yes, it's totally different from any other and it usually tops fan favorite choreo polls. It includes my personal favorite move: the infamous "Moa slide" (5:28 mark in your video).
The song hasn't been performed since 2017, but Moa talked recently about performing it again, but OTFGK.

Yes the studio versions are like the blueprint for their songs or (I'm not sure if I've said this on one of your reactions in the past) I liken the album versions to taster menus in a restaurant - you can try them and they'll give you an idea of what the main dish will taste like, but until you order the full dish you won't get all the extra veg, spices and flavours. That is what you get with BABYMETAL's live performances.
Babymetal is a theatrical production set on top of heavy metal music. That's how I am able to reconcile the sheer goofiness of the whole act with the supreme musical craftsmanship, the extreme precision and dedicated attention to details that the ladies and the entire production just put in every performance. You are absolutely right, they are a phenomenon, which we are all lucky to experience.

You're quite right that the studio recording are an incomplete version of their songs. The visual element is such an integral part of their performance that simply listening to their songs is missing out of half of the intended experience. It's often been said over the years that Babymetal are a theatrical production as much as they are a band, and that accurately describes many elements of what they do, but it's also something that some people are put off by, because their performance is so curated that it lacks the spontaneity of other live bands on stage. I think that's why a lot of people who aren't sold on Babymetal's usual performances liked their performance of "Kingslayer" with BMTH, it felt like they were all just in the moment and the performance just flowed organically.

2014, Yui and Moa should be 15 or so, age of junior high? However, when Yui ran up to the stage, her natural body movement made her looked like an elementary school student, so cute.

If much of their charm is in the blending of the cute and the brutal, this song is a great example.
While 'Megitsune' is still my favorite, this has one of the cutest choreographies.
They performed this song quite a bit in 2017, but not since.
The last time I saw this one was in Chula Vista, CA when they were on tour opening for Korn.
Although there are other songs that do a better job of showing off Su's voice, it's nice to have one that also prominently featured Yui and Moa.
Those two have mentioned that they really had to concentrate since they were dancing on that rotating stage.
