Lucas, I must say if I had a real estate agent as beautiful as the one you have I'd be inspecting condo's every day of the week.
She is one of the most hardworking lady I’ve ever seen in Pattaya, very patient showing you over 10 condos and havent decided it and not losing her cool. I like that attitude. Hope you will end up giving her the business. The point condo is the best so far, just the location is not my favorite if you have a bike maybe its ok.
They visited a few different complexes but not ten. Maybe ten units in total, that's the name of the game. Not like they have a lot of business at the moment and it's good advertisement too.
@@aeroAdvocate does it really matter the number of count to be precise? It’s a figure of speech that she’s working her ass off to show the places, it doesn’t matter if good advert for her or not, it’s still the patience and attitude which is not in lot of people.

Trust me Lucus, the fireworks go off on the hill every 1 hr.... Visitors pay for the fireworks and let them off on the shrine to the first king, from the hill your looking at from the 10th floor balcony... i walk the hill everyday to the gym and back...

B15000 unit is lovely. No problem about no balcony, just hang out around the pool.
I'd suggest taking note of the position of AC fan units on balconies. The 1st unit had blowers that directed the always hot air onto the balcony space making it very unpleasant to sit outside when the AC is on. Upside is it dries clothes on a rack very quickly. Well thought out units find ways to direct the hot air away from the balcony space.
I was surprised the 50 s/m unit didn't appear to have a balcony at all. At 15K in today's market, would be a deal breaker for me. Though I may not actually use a balcony that often, it's nice to have, especially for drying clothes. BTW, a good question to ask is if drying clothes on your balcony is allowed. Some "classier" buildings forbid it.
Good points, Ive paid for amenities that no one ever seems to use, the balcony and even the pool, in the states. Every time Ive gone on the balcony, I feel conspicuous there's never anybody else on them, but of course seems like you want one. Also those huge windows radiate cold where its colder and make the whole place cold, so I wonder would they radiate heat a lot where its warmer?
@@michaelg6641 Unless they are expensive heat reflective glass, (only in the priciest of condos), yes, they do allow a lot of heat, especially south facing units. Awnings and bamboo drop curtains on the front of balconies help but many buildings forbid them. Heavy double drapes inside are needed.

Lucas get the best Deal as im sure you can bargain for a better price ,my friend in Undon Thani just got a great rental new place only 2 years old 2 bedroom etc with it all price started at 20,000 60square meters in Total he put the pressure on signed a 1 year deal with a option 15,000 BHT per month he is Happy indeed.
That The Point 15k thb apartment was very nice. To me, it was the best of all you saw. I like the Pratumnak area.
Bigger unit has nice view of the Royal Cliff Tennis courts. Watch some tennis with your coffee in the morning. The firecrackers on Big Buddha hill is pretty annoying, used to put me off my serve when I was playing tennis.

When I saw the view from the second flat , I immediately tought of the fireworks at the Navy Memorial on Pratumnak Hill and two minutes later it happened. This flat is a good choice even if in the middle of the view of Pattaya's bay you have the abandonned tower. Thanks again, each of your vids renews my memories of Pattaya, and I look foward to visit again.
2nd condo, 50k sq mtr, always regretted going to small...Comfortable, functional, cozy with good views, balcony, pool....very nice..😊

Great Episode! I have the same requirements in that I need enough space to set up a proper PC table. You call it a workspace but for me it would be more of a play space. I notice everybody uses laptops over there but I prefer big PC screens and a gaming chair. So better have good AC as well. Also, I'm definitely looking to get at least 50 Sqm of space to move around. Thanks again for all the content!

The 2nd apartment for 15,000 is the best one I've seen so far. Storage space and a spacious lounge with leafy views on both sides. I'm sure you'd get a nice breeze blowing throigh.
I'd pick the one the Realtor say she'll drop by from time to time.

The 50 m2 unit is only 5 m2 more but 50% more than the 45 m2 unit.
I would expect 65 m2 2 bedroom for the 15,000 baht in these times.
Is that 15k baht a month?
I agree wit Vee on this one being number one. Also, remember, happy wife, happy life!! The home is their domain......
They aren't married and a small 50 sqm Pattaya Condo is hardly a womans "domain" as there isn't much to take care of.

The large unit looked nice and comfortable but I agree that the parking was pretty ordinary. I still liked the look of the two bedroom unit I think you showed in the second video of this series. Have fun checking them all out.

mine will be 65m2, for 500 euro's a month (591.69 United States Dollar)
and it includes private parking, designated place, a swimmingpool, a beach view on a good size terrace, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room.. :)

The apartment of 50 meters very nice and with good views, but to choose this apartment I would have to go back to see it on a sunny day to see if it is too sunny during the day because it has large windows and therefore the rooms could be too hot. That's because I don't like air conditioning too much, and when I go to Pattaya I always try to find one that is possibly less sunny. I do not know if you have considered this thing or you are not interested in the question or rather you like the idea.

The first condo at 10000bht had pretty useful internal space you could even push the bed towards the window and get an even larger area to work in. Not bad at all for the money especially if budget is key.
It got a lot better as you went further up the building tho!, really nice views of the pool and hills. Really well laid out condo with the walk thru too. 15000bht great price! Not sure about the jazzy rug tho 😂 made my eyes hurt 😂
Value for money on the unit itself, i think thats up there near the top. Well worth the extra 5000bht. Facilities/views looked really nice too. Parking seemed ok.
Licence sorted - thumbs up! good idea getting the concierge girl with you think that would help.

I like the 2nd unit in The Poinnt but what you didn't see or rather hear, is when the situation is normal and the Chinese tourists visit the lookout point, you hear those firecrackers going off pretty much constantly during daylight hours and sometimes at night.
Hey Bruv, I really like this condo the views are to die for. If you can get a couple of thousand off the price it would be a real good deal. The prices have dropped approx %30 due to the Chinese scamdemic. Good time to buy or rent. Look forward to the next instalment. GOD Bless you and yours. M

Funny story about eating noodles and chili flakes. When I was dating my future wife, some 30 years ago, we couldn't go out alone. She is from Laos and her parents were pretty strict, so it was always a double date. One of her friends was Thai and we would usually double with her, and one day we're out and decided to grab noodle soup. I'd never eaten soup like this so I'm watching the girls and the Thai girl adds a big spoon of chili flakes, a healthy dose of Sriracha, and then some oil with what looked like black pepper and more pepper flakes. I assumed this stuff couldn't be that hot...who could eat that much really spicy chili flake, right? I started adding chili flakes and my wife warned me it was hot. Don't worry babe...I got this.
Well, I was wrong! I love spicy food but after a couple bites it was obvious this was going to be a painful meal to finish. I kept going and quickly figured out the Thai girl had a high threshold for pain. It literally hurt to breath, my nose was running, my face was red, and I was sweating like I'd just run a marathon. I'd like to think I finished that bowl of noodles, but that was a long time ago, and I try to blank painful experiences from my memory. What I can clearly remember though is never underestimating those damn Thai chili flakes ever again. My wife's sister still dries and makes her own pepper flakes and turns some into different dipping sauces. Love that stuff, and couldn't imagine eating Thai or Lao food without it, but I'm definitely careful now when I'm trying things out now.
Anyway, thought it was funny when I saw her piling those chili flakes on. Thanks for sharing the video.

I really liked the 2bdr/50sqm, great layout & for 15k IMO a good deal. I would've thought you'd be allocated a car space where you could park your motorbikes (?) Looking forward to your next condo installment 👍
When I lived in Thailand I used to eat where vee aye at the beginning.delicious cheap food.
So far, Vee's choice in "The Point" would be mine. Perhaps you still have better condos to show us, but the 50 sqm you visited here is really adequate.
Perhaps a wee bit of a small balcony, but nice view from the condo and wonderful one from the pool. The pool, speaking of it, may not be the biggest one ever built in SEA, but who wants to live by the pool, when you have got the sea... Obviously no workout room, but who cares... :). I do not.
Due to the flexibility of the bikes parking, I would not be as severe as you are, and would go for a "B".
Anyway, your condo hunting party is very enjoyable. Thank you for the show :).
My suggestion at the license/ motorbike registration place is go when raining or just after. The place will be empty.
