- Meniscectomy is surgical removal of fragments of torn meniscus if it’s not in a position to repair . This is done surgical with help of arthroscopy/ key hole surgery.
Meniscus doesn’t grow after it’s removed and there will be empty space / void on the place and it might lead to early development of arthritis
