- We try out Goofy's Kitchen, an AYCE Disney character dining dinner buffet at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, CA. For those visiting the parks, Goofy's Kitchen is just a short walk through Downtown Disney to the Disneyland Hotel. Definitely worth checking out!

I’m not a buffet person and Goofy’s was so-so. The Veranda looked good the next morning. Always nice seeing Leslie, Erin & Nicko. Erin speaks very well when describing things.
Aww...I am so happy that you are having fun with the family. I miss Disneyland: haven't been since Christmas 2019. We always do a character dining at Goofy's Kitchen for dinner. Looks like the carving station has fewer meats than I remember. Desserts are always the best part of the meal. So nice to see families and kids having a chance to be kids and have some normalcy in their lives.

Sorry, haven't been on You Tube for the past 2 weeks. We almost lost my Mom. She was in the hospital and is now in physical rehab. She is doing much better so now trying to watch all the awesome videos I have missed.

That concierge add-on is pretty darn awesome! Mega variety of foods to choose from-no one should be complaining. And the price is a steal; you indicated $65 per room? Imagine the price if it wasn't an add-on. Looks worth it to me.

The title screen to this video, where 5 of you are hugging each other, looks like a last family photo while the Titanic is sinking, yet happy. 5:34: any cruise or buffet, I'm always fascinated about the faux bread. Same with the faux food displays at Japanese or Asian eateries. Thanks for taking us along another cool, unique, interesting place.

When we stayed concierge at Christmas time, Jane Seymour read the kids Christmas stories in the lounge. It was fun.

Love the video. I've been to Goofys kitchen a couple of times, fun exspierience. Would love to stay at the Grand but have stayed at the Disneyland hotel.
Goofys kitchen looked fun…I went many years ago. The concierge lounge was amazing! I think totally worth the up-charge. When traveling to So Cal for work I’d always take an extra day or two and stay at the DL hotel and go to the parks alone. I’d hit Trader Sam’s before bed lol. So much fun! I’d always get upgraded to a room on the concierge floor where the really fancy fun rooms are. I never paid the up-charge for the lounge so it was nice to see the one at Grand Californian. Your family pic was adorable.

Asian food was there for Lunar New Year, pretty sure not on the regular menu.

Wow! Those pizzas looked interesting. PB&J? Lol! Loved the ice cream topping dispensers. I’m with Bill on the desserts, but I don’t need any vanilla ice cream to cut through the sweetness of a delicious chocolate lava cake! The food didn’t look bad and the prices seem reasonable for a character buffet. We can’t wait to take our granddaughter to a character dining experience. We’ll definitely wait until she can get up close and personal with them.

The last time I went to Goofys Kitchen was when I was in 6th grade. I'm 31 now lol I need to go back soon, everything looks so good 😋 Disneyland is only 30 minutes from me, maybe in a couple weeks I'll treat myself 🥰

Ok, we just go back from Disney - we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel Monday - Friday! It would have been so cool to see you there! In fact, we stayed in the Fantasy Tower on the 4th floor and had a view into the lobby of Goofy's kitchen from above! Too fun! Did you catch the little dragon parade in California Adventure?! The day one was awesome but the evening one, the dragon was lit up. How fun to see this video! Thanks for sharing!

Great video again Bill & Lisa. Just a observation, masks are required so I get it. But at the buffet everyone is using the same serving spoon one after the other. Eating and licking fingers after those ribs and going right back to serving spoon. HAHA where's the logic? Oh well the food looks pretty good!

For all of the bao, it is recommended to tear off the outer layer of the bun (the driest part of the bun). I like Minnie's ear headband on Erin!!!
The buffet was geared toward kids food! It's fun to eat like that once and a while without feeling Goofy!!

Compared to the Bacchanal which area did this buffet rank better? Please remind us all what Bill said about buffet pepperoni pizza? If I did not know better I would swear the Bacchanal pissed you off and someone in your group worked there at Disneyland. My one and only trip to Goofy's Kitchen was not good sub par foods directed at children NOTHING was hot I am sure that was for the childrens sake. Most interested in the seafood comparison?

We weren’t sure of the room rate because of the cast discount. With cast discount, it was $400 a night

what's the CURRENT status of the character interaction? Going there for BREAKFAST in a couple of weeks...and read that the characters don't come to table and you cant take photos with them....due to COVID. Please let us know the status of character interaction at Goofy's Kitchen?
Pretty much what you see in this video. They’ll come maybe within a couple feet of your table/person for pictures.
