There isn’t nearly enough gloomspite gitz content on CZcams to satiate my hunger. So please keep doing videos on them. Great content either way, keep it up.
Found this channel completely by accident but oh my gob your content is outstanding. The personality you've given these gits is amazing and the music choice is so so so good. Brings me back heavily to my childhood that was full of weird games with very similar aesthetics and tones!
I was really hoping there would be some scaffolding to give a 'mid-build' feel! Also, I wasn't sold on the arms initially but they really transform the piece when blended with the final details and textures.
I know what you mean. The idea of a loonshrine with arms may sound stupid and weird. But you probably wouldn't expect sound decisions from a shroomed up green horde. Thank you! I really appreciate your kind words!
A weird rules thing with the shrine is since it has no base, you measure from the nearest part of the model for determining if things are within range, makes the spike out the back really useful! At first with the arms I thought it seemed a bit unfair to expand the model in that way, but adding the base actually nerfs it a bit (because then you measure from the base) and turns the arms irrelevant so I guess it's fine. Not something I'd do, I hate it when conversions impact the rules of the game, but I wouldn't complain if my opponent did it.
Yeah that’s something I also thought about. But in the end there is enough of the old model still intact so I can measure from the original footprint and the spike if my opponent wants me to. But this is something I would definitely clarify before playing!
Recently I’ve come into contact with my first ever sitting of Warhammer models at a game store I physically touched them (it was amazing 😻) and then I looked at the price of the small box of gloomspite gitz I was holding and I put them back immediately ($60 for 4 gitz!!! 😭)
Well that’s a question I would love to have a definitive answer for. I really don’t know but I think I will start with a Loonboss on Cave Squig. Mainly because I love the model. If you want to have a more experienced opinion, there is a great video from Stuart „Irongutsman“ McGowan with a great breakdown of gitz in the new GHB : czcams.com/video/hmW8iVAXkNI/video.html Hope this helps!
I respect you for protecting yourself with nitrile gloves when using epoxy! Not enough people in the hobby knows how toxic that crap is :-)
Thanks for pointing that out! Safety first!

I was quite unsure with the arms, but man... The result speaks for itself.

The new "pixelate the result in the thumbnail" thing so many hobby content providers are doing is already old.
