Most DD games are designed to beat them just punching and kicking, but this game push you to use all the moves not just the spining kick, and when you are capable to use all moves is an easier game, and more fun

Like that CPU ninja can make 4x Jump if you catch him in mid air with the dialogue and also can wall hit you with mo walls if you keep pressing down when on bottom floor.

The likely culprit here is that the Mummies' tossing sprites were only designed to work with the good guys.
