A bolt falling off does not mean the Brand is bad. It means the individual who worked on the bike didn't fix it properly. Apart from this the Triumphs didn't have any technical problems. Buy a KTM 1290, you will have expensive bills as well and service centers will be as limited. Triumphs, BMW and KTM do great in their own segments.

this is common protocol of a good company to inspect vehicle nanny times before delivery, they keep supervisors and delivery man to do the task so that nothing should be left. They get a proper service check list to follow, the mechanic may forget but what about inspector, why didn't he do his job. Shameful act by Triumph, they must make their employees to adhere strictly.

You should definitely put on some red or blue liquid Loctite on the nut and bolt so that doesn't happen again just make sure you use heat if you ever have to take it off he got with a torch for few seconds

As the local bolts have a different thread pattern so they might fall off resulting in a mishap
Also a thredlock costs roughly 20rs and will not affect the internal threads of the part.

That's the reason people by Ktm rather than middle weights even if we buy a quater litre 300-400cc premium bike it will cost around litreclass bikes for the service around 7-8k for normal service and they will do nothing and if crash or any failure no rsa and they will say imported bike he parts foreign se atte he n will make you wait for 1-2 weeks. Instead buy a ktm.
KTM is far expensive abroad and rest of the bikes are cheap but its opposite in India which is really sad.

A minor accident on my street twin resulted in a downtime of one and a half months for my bike. One of the header pipes and engine dresser bar (leg-guard) had to be replaced. Spares were not readily available at Triumph Kolkata or Triumph India. Very unfortunate after buying such a lovely machine. Triumph needs to 'pull up it's socks'.

They are supposed to use thread locker on the bolts and then torque them down so that they don't come off. If the guy had a crash it was triumph's responsibility, as they have employed the person and negligence was a direct cause of their employee. So you can't exclude triumph and pin just the individual. This is what happens when jugaads are done and SOPs are not followed.
It is very very dangerous with these high speed motorcycles if they are not safety checked before and after maintenance..Especially i can imagine the technicians mostly in India they are neither certified nor there is a law to sue the company for something like this that can cost a life..Issues like these have to be reported directly to the company that’s allowing these individuals to run a dealership with dumbass mechs.The course is min 3yr to to even start as junior mechanic in America..Might be the big brands are gaining popularity these days in India..However,you get so mad when you spend so much money without any laws to protect the consumer ..something panics you as a rider for what you pay for passion..The only option out is to perform some checks and balances before you get on the road to avoid major incidents..Good luck to your team especially with a knowledgeable lead like Sriman..Safe ride guys👍🏻

One thing I noticed in this video series as well as others like JS Films unboxing videos is that Indian Techs in SUzuki or anywhere don't use power tools let alone the question of torque wrenches. All automobile / bike equipments should be torqued to the right specs.
