This song just hit me the other day when I was in a store. It's what it felt like for me to carry around all the shame and guilt coming out of a relationship with a pathological narcissist. It empowers me every time I hear it and I wish everyone out there who carries this guilt and shame to free themselves of it and be happy again. You deserve it!

i must admit that up until 6 months ago the only track i knew was dance monkey which while being an amazing piece of writing was played to death here in the uk and as such i didnt bother to research Tones & I...... what a stupid mistake that was !!!!......... Everytime I hear one of her song I literally sob uncontrollably her music connects with so many people and her voice behind the words just moves your soul completely she needs more attention around her music she's amazing at what she does

She has the MUSIC INDUSTRY (the machine)pushing her and yet u have independent artist doing it all on their own from the instruments(sound) and writing and the overall edits and final cut then make a low to mid level music video budget that are out doing the MACHINE at their own game and the independent artist will never get promoted or played on local radio... Take all that away(the machine pushing her on radio and interview and high dollar budget but still give her writers and instruments and do all the edits and cuts)from her and I bet she wouldn't even have gotten a quarter of the views vs a independent artist who have to work harder...
What more do you want from the machine??? They are throwing fist's full of cash at her music as it is now....????
