- When your dog loves swimming you rent him a pool then he hates it! Buddy the golden retriever had to teach Teddy how to swim and show him what it's all about! Teddy loves swimming usually but he soon got the hang of it again in the end. Retrievers are little water babies
i like everyone else can't wait to see the critters explore their new home. to see Phil find his cool napping spot, Niko her lookout area so she can see anyone coming to close, and Ted running around like the spaz he is in a bigger yard and house. then of coarse we can't forget king Milo finding his new hiding spot and ambush positions to bop the dogs on the nose when they go past. no rush, we all understand the stress and time consuming of moving. we wish you good luck in the chaos that you are dealing with.

It´s funny to see Teddy hesitant about the pool since he swims easily in most lakes (when he wants to get close to swams for example). Buddy is a golden and they love water. The fact he didnt try to jump inmediately surprise me, probable is the pool "eco" the thing they dont like.
The reason why some dogs don’t like to swim in pool’s because it’s a slippery bottom and steps are slippery too! Same way some people don’t like bottom of lake’s and ocean it’s rocky and slippery too! On the hand, dogs like lakes and ocean better than pool they can enter into flat land.

I suspect, initially the water was too clean reminded Teddy of a bath.

Hey, thanks to your videos I managed to spot the signs of Cushing's Disease early in my husky/akita and even though we don't yet know if it's Cushing's (we're waiting on blood results), we're like 99% sure, so thanks for raising awareness of it, because without you I'd have put it all down to old age and not thought to go to the vet. ❤️

This is amazing! Just don’t do what we did the first time we tested for Cushings and accepted the negative result apparently the vast majority can test negative there are multiple tests they can do! Since Phil has been on medication it’s been life changing for him, he is a completely different dog!!
@@lifewithmalamutes Thanks for the advice! She had a urine test which came back positive so then she had 2 blood tests which we're waiting to hear the results for. In all fairness, our vet has been fantastic and could see the symptoms I could. I'm just so glad I happened to come across your channel!

Teddy at first didn't want to get in the pool. I didn't understand that Buddy came in alone, i thought that he slipped. You didn't very well taking with you Buddy because when he entered the pool it seemed that Teddy felt more comfortable with him in the water. However, i have the feeling that Teddy doesn't like the water very much. Buddy is very brave boy. Does he really like the pool or does he come in for Shane's treats?

What a great idea for a business, a swimming pool for dogs, fantastic, and also what a great way to get dogs some really meaningful exercise. Can see Buddy really loved that, and I think Teddy is starting to enjoy it more as well. Also, great to have that lovely feeling of relaxation afterwards and the great smell of chlorine.
