No Dr. Pepper on this list?!?! The third best selling soda in the US doesn’t even get a mention?? Instead mentioning 4 or 5 root beer and “citrus” drinks each.
I enjoy Dr Pepper but for me I can only do about one can after that like a large Dr Pepper or some thing it starts just to taste like soap to me I don’t know why it’s just so flavorful I do agree with them about the other two root beers tasting more water down I don’t know what it is about barks root beer but it really does have a kick to it it’s like an extra flavorful taste and I think the fact that has caffeine has something to do with it to maybe.

It's a tough battle in many of these videos because the topic is so subjective, but to start out with Mountain Dew and calling it horrible was a little too drastic. You cannot deny the popularity of that drink and/or it's varieties of flavors. When I go to a convenience store, there are more rows of original Mountain Dew than any other soft drink.
People don't drink Mountain Dew for their health or for an upscale soda experience, they drink it because they like the radioactive sugar taste. And for the caffeine boost. I personally love Dr. Brown, but I grew up seeing it in kosher delis and bagel shops. Stewart's is amazing. I love that it comes in those old-fashioned glass bottles. As for ginger ale, Canada Dry is better.
I laughed when Mountain Dew came up first. It's pretty much the only one I drink. Mainly for the caffeine. Though I sip it throughout the day to keep an easy level of caffeine boost going. One bottle lasts me three days. I can't handle a strong caffeine boost - nasty feeling. I think the taste is fine. For flavor I like root beer.

I'm assuming this was created in a large city. Here in the Midwest most convenience store gas stations Mt dew is the most stocked soda. Code red and voltage gets alot of space also. Cola wars to me is best rc, close second Pepsi and coke is the last option or maybe switch away from cola if it's all that's available. How many regular soda drinkers are worried about sugar or caffeine? Most that are stay away from soda totally.
See I never could get into the lime lemon type sodas including Mountain Dew but I admit I do enjoy all the blue flavors from Mountain Dew the berries honestly it really taste like Pepsi blue to me just re-branded and I do like code red and a couple of the other random ones but the regular Mountain Dew I could never get into but I know a ton of people that swear by Mountain Dew at the same time
Ranking Mtn. Dew and Surge at the bottom of the list immediately negates it's credibility. I hate all root beer so no further comment on that. The soda that is truly the worst is Dr. Pepper. It has an unpalatable bitterness with a horrible aftertaste. 7Up belongs at second worst. The new formula is basically citrus flavored seltzer water with a nearly as bad aftertaste.

One soda in, and already this list can go screw itself! I love Mt. Dew. It is for some reason the only soda I don't mind drinking from the can, instead of getting a cup of ice like I do with all the other non root beer sodas.
I work for PepsiCo she slammed Mt Dew but Mr Dew fly's off the shelves and you can barely keep the coolers filled. Mt Dew is huge and it's one of our biggest sellers in some area's #1 over Pepsi..
Frostie root beer pretty good. Red Rock is the best ginger ale. Boylan's cream soda. Jarrito's fruit sodas really taste like the fruit they're supposed to taste like. Pepsi is "less sweet"? It's vile, like drinking sugar syrup. Barq's? God-awful! Coca Cola is the best of the bunch, less sweet than Pepsi, complex flavor with notes of orange and lime, cinnamon, chocolate. If you want cherry or vanilla or other flavors added, you're best starting with the plain Coke and add cherry syrup or vanilla extract, or whatever other flavor you might like.

I'm a root beer fan and must say that Mug is not watery but A&W is. Mug is better than the others to me, it's sweeter than Barg's but less power kick to it. But if you talk sweet root beer none are sweeter than Dad's which I haven't seen in years.
Surge was terrible I hated stocking it another failed Coke product no one bought it, it just took up shelf space and of course they reintroduced for another round of no sells.

Jones is a bit hard to find in some areas. Here's a tip; mix Jones cream soda with orange vodka and it tastes like a creamsicle, mix it with chocolate vodka and it tastes like a milkshake.
I'm not much of a big soda drinker any more, particularly for health reasons. When I do crave one, I go for either a Root Beer, which is my personal favorite, or Sprite, which I drink to help settle my stomach.
I can’t have regular soda (50 years diabetic, prone to overweight). I don’t mind diet Mountain Dew. It’s not great but I actually prefer it to most colas. Diet ginger beers and ginger ales, Fresca, and lemon-limes are my favorites. I really dislike root beers for some reason.
The one thing you guys did get backwards is that in my opinion (and the opinions of most people who I ask) Pepsi is way too sweet, and if people don't think it's too sweet, they can still definitely agree that Pepsi is much sweeter than Coke, like it or not. In fact, most people who I ask, "Which is better? Coke or Pepsi?" and though there are varied answers, more often than not people say they like Pepsi because it is sweeter than Coke or they prefer Coke because it is slightly more bitter than Pepsi. I don't think it matters at all which you prefer, but personally, I prefer Coke for it's slight bitterness, although Pepsi is also iconic and comes in second place to me in terms of taste., and the originality of the two is what ranks them in the top two for me. Third place is Fanta, all the way!
Pepsi and Coke preferences are regional where I live. By far, WV is Pepsi country and major MOUNTAIN DEW land! I started drinking Coke when the girls in my sorority house drank it and when I was at home I had to keep my Cokes in the garage!

Pepsi is the best soda on the market. Coke is a four letter word and is only acceptable with alcohol mixed in. A&W is the 2nd best Root Beer after IBC. Which you don't mention. I remember when all sodas use to come in glass bottles when I was a kid. I think the vending machines transitioned from glass bottles to cans in the early 80's. Soda was so much better back in the 70's along with the food........ ( Those were the GOOD OLD DAYS ). Can I get an Amen from the older people !!!🙌😋
Dr. Pepper should have been in the place of that sparkling juice soda. Also, Coke in glass bottles is several levels above any other kind of Coke, and should be its own category, probably just under Jarritos.
When I was a kid we had the faygo flavors in which I liked Red Pop the best but I moved to the Midwest and are a Dr. Pepper fan now or diet Dr Pepper or diet Coke zero sugar

As a diabetic I need diet and diet Dr. Pepper tastes the same as regular Dr. Pepper. Both are damn good even tho the regular could kill me.

I have seen a lot of seltzer sodas in the stores and not one of them was New Wave soda.

The one thing you guys did get backwards is that in my opinion (and the opinions of most people who I ask) Pepsi is way too sweet, and if people don't think it's too sweet, they can still definitely agree that Pepsi is much sweeter than Coke, like it or not. In fact, most people who I ask, "Which is better? Coke or Pepsi?" and though there are varied answers, more often than not people say they like Pepsi because it is sweeter than Coke or they prefer Coke because it is slightly more bitter than Pepsi. I don't think it matters at all which you prefer, but personally, I prefer Coke for it's slight bitterness, although Pepsi is also iconic and comes in second place to me in terms of taste., and the originality of the two is what ranks them in the top two for me. Third place is Fanta, all the way!
Pepsi and Coke preferences are regional where I live. By far, WV is Pepsi country and major MOUNTAIN DEW land! I started drinking Coke when the girls in my sorority house drank it and when I was at home I had to keep my Cokes in the garage!
Both coke and pepsi have 40 grams of sugar in a 375ml can. They're both too sweet.

I love the fresh and powerful taste of SQUIRT. I think it has a powerful bite of carbonation.
Whoever made this list must hate themselves. Mt Dew last? Coke over Pepsi? No Dr. Pepper? Faygo near the top? Horrid.
Dr. Pepper, RC, Coca-cola, in that order. IBC for root beer, and when you can find them, Cheerwine and Ale 81. They could have saved some time by stating they don't like cherry flavor-added sodas.

Pepsi is the best soda on the market. Coke is a four letter word and is only acceptable with alcohol mixed in.
A&W is the 2nd best Root Beer after IBC. Which you don't mention. Barq's would be 3rd though for me.

I remember when all sodas use to come in glass bottles when I was a kid. I think the vending machines transitioned from glass bottles to cans in the early 80's. Soda was so much better back in the 70's along with the food........ ( Those were the GOOD OLD DAYS ). Can I get an Amen from the older people !!!🙌😋

Dr. Pepper should have been in the place of that sparkling juice soda. Also, Coke in glass bottles is several levels above any other kind of Coke, and should be its own category, probably just under Jarritos.

When I was a kid we had the faygo flavors in which I liked Red Pop the best but I moved to the Midwest and are a Dr. Pepper fan now or diet Dr Pepper or diet Coke zero sugar

Mt. Dew the worst? It's the biggest selling soft drink in the U.S. I don't drink it but every body I know drinks the hell out of it. This list seems to be reversed!
