The Sorcerer Kingdom is a surprisingly peaceful city with excellent security and a very fair legal system. No one would dare attack E-Rantel directly unless they were Phillip-level insane!
They expected him to take severe action even worse than the noble purge lead by Jircniv. They even expect him to establish a permanent foothold on Re-Estize as a result. The Slane Theocracy planned to take advantage from the gaps in security caused by them suddenly taking over such a huge territory after purging the ruling class.... What they didn't expect was every resident, guilty or innocent to have their life snuffed out just because of a shoddy attack on a single measly grain caravan that ended in no casualties
According to Ainz, it seems like either 5 goats is a hard cap on the spell, or the spell requires exponentially more sacrifices, since according to his calculations, he should've had 6 or 7 goats on the Katze plains. That's a huge amount of wasted sacrifices
He did find out, it’s easy to miss cause it’s like one sentence long remember after he killed the Elf King Decem, he scanned his daughters(zeshi) brain & he was big mad lol he halted all extra unnecessary projects outside of the sorceress kingdom & called for his entire military power to mobilize in preparation for an all out war. 😬😬😬
The scariest part was that while this was a pretty good short term assessment for their first convention since the annihilation of Re-Estize, they could not fathom and convene quick enough to realise the DEVESTATING implications of the more minor details of the war before it was far too late
Surprisingly not really. Up till vol 16, he gauged that there were too many unknown factors to risk any sort of diplomacy with them, other than surface level. The amount he knows is too little, and that is Ainz' one and *only* fear. However by vol 14, he had come to terms with the fact that there is likely no one strong enough to be even close to challenging him. And in volume 16, he wariness about players and WCIs and alternative magics was cast aside by his sheer rage. If not for that, the Theocracy might not've been so high on his list

The way I see it, these are what the remaining LNs will (i.e. should) focus on. Vol. 17 the retaliation against the Slane Theocracy and Vol. 18 the final showdown against the Platinum Dragon Lord.
The only reason the Dragon Kingdom requires the assistance of Ainz in the first place is because the Sunlight Scripture they pay for every year..... was annihilated by him.
The Theocracy decided not to send anyone else as they were busy on a war of their own against the elf. Not like Ainz knew that. The Theocracy did not expect to have their team annihilated, Ainz had no idea they were helping other kingdoms and they threatened to kill him.
So at the end of volumen 16 it says that there are only 2 volumes left And :::::SPOILER ALERT:::::: 1.- in the ending of v16 Ains finally realizes what happened to Shalltear (the mind posesion thing) and is angry af 2.- albedo gets scared bc she things Ains "discovered how she betrayed him" and nothing more is revealed about that I'm hyped ngl :'D

It's possible the people of the Slane Theocracy will be allowed to live, if they recognize Ainz as one of their gods and worship him- which to a religious fanatic, can be considered apostasy, a sin that will damn the sinner to a fate worse than death.

We also know that Surshana's disciple is alive and only him can influence the Theocracy if Ainz is deserving to be worshipped like the rest of the 6GG. Also there is a possibility that the Theocracy will become the second farm for Demiurge or they will be wiped out and tortured the remaining powerful individuals like the bishops and godkins, and after it build the theocracy from scratch just like Re Estize.

One way or another Slane is done for, they don't have an army to defend or their hero is powerful enough to hold Nazric, if they are hoping for players then that's not going work either after all Nazric is waiting for players to show up, Emperor played right and is saved.
One problem . Rufus. Rufus is an undead and the highest ranking member of the theocracy above the black scripture . His master had the same build as Ainz and TGOALID and was level 100 . So Rufus has excellent knowledge of that build and what can be done and counters to it .His intellect is at least Albedo or Demiurge level if not higher considering not only did he survive the attack of the 8 greed kings that killed his master who were level 100 players but he revived a successful theocracy that hates the undead but is one. Not only did he trick and survive against 6 players and their downfall but he controlled a kingdom from the shadows for centuries . Ainz already has shown more of himself and his forces while Rufus was virtually unknown. And there’s no telling how many world items and gear of the 6 gods he has at his disposal. Ainz made a huge mistake in his anger. He rushed to attack the theocracy before getting all the information out of Zesshi through torture due to her shear level and durability . And even if Ainz destroys the theocracy it’s likely Rufus will escape considering he escaped 6 players already and Ainz doesn’t even have knowledge of his existence. That’s a huge threat that he can’t account for

Not sure if you’ve already done a video on it but I was reading volume 7 and in its intermission chapter with PDL and Rigrit, they mention a women who’s sleeping in the deepest parts of the Sea City as another option for help against future players if they couldn’t get help from the other Dragon Lords. You think this women could be another God-kin from the Eight Greed Kings or maybe even a potential player? I rarely see people talk about this and I feel like it could be brought up again on either the next volume or the volume that involves the Argland Council State.
People don't talk about loose ends like these because they were made before Maruyama got burnt out and imposed the 18 volume limit on the franchise. All these small ideas were likely going to be their own novels and fully fledged arcs, but now all of that is lost and nothing will ever come of it. It's important to know that the entire map we've seen is only a quarter of the continent of the new world that Maruyama wanted to originally explore. There are dozens of beautiful scenes, countries of diverse species with different ruling systems and ideologies all described, but unfortunately none we shall ever see

So i have a question, how does the time work in overlord cus the six great gods came to the new world more than 200 years ago but Yggdrasil was only online for 12 years i think? How many years in the new world is one year in Japan?
That's not how time works in this universe at all. All the players went missing from Yggdrasil at once, they just got scattered along the New World timeline when they were transported. Presumably in 100-year intervals too.
The first players came 600 years ago (the 6 GG) and than every 100 years (at least according to the theocracy) new players came to the world, I suspect that the Dragonlords in general and the Dragon Emperor in perticular are responisble for this odd occurence.
Imagine if every big job like CEO and Politician were unpaid jobs like they have. Everyone would be fighting to be second in command for every job rather then at the top I wager.
You mean 500,000,000 in 'Yggdrasil' gold coins, or 1,000,000,000 in Slane Theocracy gold coins (those from 'Yggdrasil' are approx. twice the size of those from the Re-Estize Kingdom, and I doubt those from the Theocracy will be bigger than those from the Kingdom).
