Dealing with duplicates can be a nightmare. Something that at first glance should be so simply can easily frustrate even the best programmers.
Depending on the software you use, there are different methods for handling duplicates and also depends if duplicates are intended or not.
Being in the industry for years now, I still get surprised from time to time. In this video, we have student grades. The issue is that multiple students have the same name. When dealing with percentages, for students with the same name, the percentages add together giving a grade higher than 100% which makes no sense.
In this video I'll show you different ways to handle this issue!

I guess, since two Monas have same marks, one is the duplicate entry of the other. and we should REMOE one Mona from the list.

Uh.... Tableau prep doesn't have an automated way of removing duplicate records based on a "combination" of fields?? Like Power Query ??

Hey George! Not to my knowledge. Tableau is a visualization layer on top of the data set itself so it doesn't alter it in any way. I suppose you could get away with this by a clever way of filtering over a number of fields. However, this would depend on the data set in question and how its structured.
