Similar to the Stinger 1, the ADJ Stinger II offers 3-FX-IN-1 mobile friendly fixture. What’s different with the Stinger II is the eight 3W UV LEDs that offer a new dimension of excitement for mobile DJs, bands, small clubs and bars, roller rinks and bowling centers with its room-filling razor sharp beams of light.
The UV LEDs combined with the HEX LED Moonflower and the red and green “Galaxian” style laser give entertains a lot of options for hours of entertainment. This fixture has 15 built-in color options, smooth steeper motors for a premium lightshow and a 4-button DMX function display.

Yes, the ADJ Stinger, Chauvet Swarm 5 FX, and Kam Trilogy (available in the UK) are all based off an identical light chassis. Happens a lot with so many branded DJ lights. ADJ and Kam lights are brighter and offer more colors than the Swarm 5 FX, and each has a slightly different DMX map.
Adding to this now (and now I'm glad I didn't buy the original Stinger) ADJ has swapped out the white strobes for UV's in the Stinger II, which is a really cool feature and will look great at weddings or nightclubs. Great colors and a legit laser. Looking forward to seeing this at NAMM 2016!

I love it! Essentially it will have 7 distinct cookouts when you factor in all 3 effects. The IV would be a welcomed and unique alternative for those who don't like a white strobe. I currently have 2 of the first generation stingers but will buy at least one of these.

I combine this with 2 stinger spots and that’s what I use at small parties

Ya its an awesome Fixture i'm in the process of purchasing a 2nd. I Dig the fact the Series II has remote capabilities I only wish it was RF not RI. I eventually plan on DMXing them for more control

i have 2 of these and its sick. when i get second tripod the truss connection I'm going to buy 2 more before i decide what I'm going to add to that
tight. I think I am going to buy 2 of them to add one to each stand. I ended up buying another gig bar.. Easy to set up and does a lot.

Sound active will use the uv light though

I want to get one for my mancave, but I don't use DMX, Sound Active, Master/Slave, etc. I like using an Auto Mode Setting for my lasers and lighting. Can this be done with the Stinger II with all of the effects running at once on variable speed options? Is there a way to bypass DMX or adjust Sound Active to the lowest setting so that it runs like its on Auto Mode?
If you have an iPhone or iPad, the Stinger 2 comes with the IR transmitter you plug into the headphone jack. The app is free. It will let you turn off sound active mode without doing it with the buttons on the back of the fixture. I got one to use at home for parties or when I want to make Ping Pong real psychedelic! This one light really amps up a house party.
+Chris Davis cool! Thx! I was watching another review, the the man said that they changed the lights from white to UV, and that they don't look all that noticeable unless your room is competent dark? Do you also find that to be true as well?
+Ritean Dan Yes, the room does need to be dark for them to be noticed well, but the UVs are brighter than I expected. I didn't want the bright white strobes so the change to UVs was fine for what I'll be using it for. In a small area I feel the UVs work pretty good. If you were doing a wedding reception or something then you would definitely need a more powerful UV set up. Again, I just use my Stinger at the house & it's great for that! It's a little pricey, yes. I traded in some bass guitar pedals at Guitar Center to help offset the cost. The other fixture I was considering was Chauvet's Kinta FX which can be used with their remote. The Kinta FX is cheaper than the Stinger 2 but I like all the patterns the Stinger 2 does better. The Kinta FX doesn't have a pink LED in it either. The Stinger's lasers may be brighter too, I can't remember the specs.

you must have a defective one...there is indeed a green laser in it.
biggest let down,looks nothing like the video,the adj quad phase up is far superior light
