- This is a compilation of most of Johnny Cuba’s scenes from the TV series, TUGS. This video is made to keep TUGS and it’s amazing characters alive and important. Footage of all 13 episodes of TUGS are from UnknownThomasFan01 and TheStarSwitcher which helped me make these “Best of” compilations.

It’s interesting how similar he is to Sailor John.
And Diesel 10.
He’s much scarier than those two in my opinion.
Sailor John is a great villain, but he’s just a human who wants some treasure and never makes really any threats to Thomas. His threats towards Skiff are kind of empty to me, throwing dynamite at him seems kind of dull to me.
Diesel Ten is so over-the-top and funny, in terms of intimidation I prefer his original. However, Neil Crone is still great, although he’s so over-the-top and funny with such a voice and design, sometimes he’s just not scary.
Johnny Cuba is a much better villain in my opinion. He has a deep voice with no sense of “funni”, he’s all business with a voice of danger.
He never takes any real time to make a cartoony joke, and never, I repeat NEVER admits to shame or gets into any certain pickles, which D10 ( when Splatter & Dodge were questioning him about letting Mr Conductor escape ) and Sailor John ( his dearest when he tries to convince them he’s not the pirate ) both have.
I just think this guy is better.
That’s not to say those two are bad though, they’re good villains still.
I mean the names are almost the same. So yeah.

Might’ve been startled at first to see another tug in his proximity, but then realized it was a Zed Stack, meaning someone he could take advantage of to get him into port in secret. Wonder if that was what the face meant in the original 20 minute cut.

I’m not sure, it’s hard to tell but It looks like he only had one face. Izzy Gomez only had two to my knowledge.
