When negan smiles at Ezekiel while he's on his knees, that's when Ezekiel realize that negan is sacrificing himself to save others and he's a changed man
But he still has the same idea of "Sacrifice one to send message" like he did back then at the S6 finale - but now he's on the other end of the bat.

Rick's reaction to Laurie's death, Rick reuniting with his family, Carol telling Lizzie to look at the flowers, or all the amazing scenes in "No Sanctuary." Anything Negan and his lame forced redemption arc, with his newfound random preggers wife after 6 mo of being gone is as corny and cringe as Maggie's return and the whole Reapers arc. You guys have low standards.

I want a batman style fight scene with Mercer just tearing through soilders.
Would be dope i mean he has a lot of loyal men but i think milton has more would be awesome to see him and his men killing them all or arresting them the ones who surrender anyways cuz i cant see mercer killing people who give up and don’t fight against him.

I think mercer has been on our side for a bit now. He just needed to wait till the opertune time/last min, so he was still in a position to help. He didn't spontaneously have half a dozen troops, specifically dealing with Eugene, flip on a dime. They were already sussed out and in place. Needs more troops, but he's definitely been making shadow moves for a min. - I think he was holding back because he doesn't know who all is reporting to pam, and if he flipped too soon, his sister was at risk. He had to flip now to save Eugene.... and I'm positive Eugene's speech was for mercer's sake ('ive been where you are, don't do what I did').

Another thing is the fact earlier Negan tells Ezekiel that Hope is Ezekiel's thing, not his. While what Negan does here flips the switch.

I agree It wouldve been better if we didnt know about the spinoffs yet but i was really afraid Ezekiel was going to die either because Negan was going to give him up or at the end Ezekiel was going to sacrifice himself or get killed trying to help them. Also i don’t get why they arent talking more about finding Judith and RJ but maybe giving Rosita that screen time is leading up to something else for her
This was the best episode of season 11 hands down. I literally lost it when the group stood up for Negan and Annie even if it meant they could also die. Ezekiel didn’t just do that for Annie, he also did it for Negan. I think he realized in that moment that Negan has changed, by sacrificing his own self. But that ending made me scream in excitement. Time to F shit up.
I teared up when Ezekiel went between Negan & the Soldiers, then everyone else followed. Heartfelt speech, just how Ezekiel is, Strong & Kind. Rosita’s this episode, superb.
That episode was Phenomenal. These last couple of episodes have been awesome.

Yessuh been waiting to see you guys reaction to this, episode was ramped up finally got Oceanside updates. Just hope they could wrap all this good story over the years with a nice & compelling ending .

Whew ..... What an intense episode ! 😬 I hope we don't lose one of our own to the walker who picked up the knife, especially Elijah since it would be foreshadowing Lydia dropping it. Mercer's line at the end was so iconic. I can't wait for the last two episodes !
in case you didn't watch the "behind the scenes" after, Mercer's line at the end was ad libbed. He said he knew exactly what he wanted to say
I heard Angela can't say that and thought it was awesome! She said they decided to keep that line because it was so perfect but it definitely wasn't planned and Michael came up with that all on his own

If you go back and rewatch it there is a walker that bumps into Lydia (it seems as if on purpose) and then she drops the knife and the walker falls and picks it up. I believe it was intentional, for sure. We shall see!
It looks like they are trying to bring the herd to commonwealth or maybe Alexandria to help the others? Not really sure. I love the narration, Judith is either reading her own writings or she is reading carls letter to her, that would be epic!! Loved the line again “my dad wanted his mercy to prevail over his wrath”, so this could either be Judith or Carl…stoked for the final 2!!
That Walker bumping into her definitely didn't do it on purpose and it wasn't that same Walker picking it up.

It was so matter of fact when it picked it up, not intentionally at all.
Thinking it could reach out to grab someone and by doing so stab them with the knife.
Don't think it would outright go and stab anyone.
Would be wild it it did though!
Really good episode. I wonder what’s gonna happen in “Family”. I feel that’ll be the end of the main story, and “Rest In Peace” will be a time skip epilogue just like the comics
tyler foreshadowing the anne situation when he’s talking to zeke, “people who shouldn’t die always end up dying”, saying they’ll jill someone you care ab not make you a martyr
Loved this episode! So much happened and is building up nicely for the finale. Angela Kang said Mercer's last line, "Time to F stuff up", was an ad lib by Michael James Shaw, which they felt was the best ending for the episode. Sad about the lack of tension when Negan was in his one-man line-up, but it did show that Negan was willing to sacrifice himself for the group. Am also not too sure about Luke and Jules. Their story about their escape from Oceanside sounded suss to me, him talking about wanting to stay and fight but Jules saying no didn't sound genuine, (am gonna keep my eyes on them two). Overall, can't wait for the next episode!!
I think Luke said it was Rachel who said not to stay and fight but instead head out to warn the other communities what was heading their way. I believe Rachel and a few other are outside Oceanside too. Hopefully we catch up with Rachel again. I liked her. I wonder if Virgil is okay. He'd still be in recovery mode.

What if Eugene is getting the Rick death? He did have a grand speech in the court yard. I can see Pamala sneaking up on Eugene and shooting him and then Mercer arrests her

This was definitely my favorite episode of 11C and the acting was next level. I totally agree about the whole spinoff issue but either way, I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
I think Judith is reading Carl's letter he wrote to her and she's reading it to herself but in the last episode at the end the scene starts in Judith in her kid voice and transitions into her adult voice as she finishes reading Carl's letter to her son carl. Can you say FULL CIRCLE
I will full-on sob if that's what happens. I am still not okay with Carl's death and it always makes me cry when they mention him.
Negan did his lowering back iconic move was awesome with thr combination of his savior theme.
To see Negan truly feel the pain he caused others in the past was very satisfying; but sad simultaneously. Watching the people he hurt stand and protect him was AMAZING! Negan knew he needed to make a sacrifice not just for his wife but all the people there.
Mercer's last line was EVERYTHING!!!! Mercer's strength, the love and respect he has from citizens & troops + Eugene's big brain, bravery and devotion to his friends and new love = ONE HELL OF A FIGHT.
I am so excited for the next episode!!!! Time to F*&^ $#!T UP!! 😆😆😆😆
All of the walker variants is leading to the spin offs, especially the Daryl one in Paris. Remember the first one we saw was in the post credit scene after the end of "World Beyond" in Paris.
This episode was by far the best yet. I know there are some that are hating on this season. I was frustrated on some stuff too but as a WHOLE it has been really good imo. I cheered for Mercer at the end. I was flipping out when I thought Annie was going to die. CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE FINAL TWO!!!

Fantastic episode. I'm thinking Mercer has had this planned - it seemed too organized for a last minute thing. Josh asked what were Ezekiel and the crew standing in front of Negan and Annie gonna do - well that is what we call a "show of force" at my job. Basically, you can't take all of us, so really evaluate if you want to continue. I had to rewind that walker picking up the knife, I was convinced it was someone in our group dressed as a whisperer. Chills when I realized it wasn't. Crazy! I am so hype for the next 2 episodes.
I said the exact thing about that troop turning his gun on the warden. I immediately thought of that Huck scene where she was told to shoot civilians
Hi guys! I found the central point where it starts with Negan's flashback killing and torturing our folks, and ending up being protected, an incredible parallel. Mercer irritates me deeply.

Just so you guys know Ezekiel did comic Rick's speech. They changed the line "we are not the walking dead" to "This world is broken but we don't have to be"
Villains like that warden, the claimers, Gareth from terminus, season seven Negan, and alpha just bring out a primal hatred in me towards them.
All of Season 11C has been excellent in one way or another.
Knew Negan wasn't going to get killed but when they put his wife next to him my heart started racing!
When the others and Ezekiel stepped up I thought - Red Weddington Time!!!
They keep ramping it up episode by episode and with Mercer's line at the end the fuse has been lit!

This was an amazing episode I really enjoyed it
Dang this probably would’ve been the most dramatic deaths in the whole series had it gone down that way especially when the rest of the survivors finding out their loved ones where gunned down like Carol losing Ezekiel, Connie and Yumiko losing Kelly and Magna, Jerry losing Nabila, Mercer losing Princess and Negan and his family being lost
I really hope they have some big deaths soon, as much as I love the characters, it doesn't have the same impact if nobody dies
What I dont get it's why did they make the cliffhanger with Lance throwing the coin when he got to Oceanside... like, it was supposed to be a "killing them or keeping them alive" kinda bet from what they showed and the atmosphere they built. Also, why would the boss from the Commonwealth's working camp say that thing (9:00) to the trooper in front of Negan considering that he suspects his group is responsible for an upcoming uprising? Doesn't make any sense lmao. But that final scene of Mercer *chef's kiss*

Mercer is smarter than all of them at the moment, he knows full well taking the stand won't change anything right away, it would just result in him being marked a traitor and taken out by Pamela before he had the advantage he needed, on the stand he would be in an incredibly vulnerable position, outside of that he can make sure to be surrounded by loyal soldiers. A wise commander never gives up their advantage.
It's also wating to see if the trial is fair.
Giving the law a chance at justice before assuming the worst is wise.
@@sherylpayne5851 nah, he knew it wouldn't be a fair chance at justice, they all did, but they also knew that they had to let that injustice play out to rally more people to the cause, if Pamela was half as smart as she thinks she is she is would have let Eugene win or not have gone after him at all and find another way to get her vengeance, instead she chose to make a martyr out of him.
Rewatching the series and season 1 episode 1 and 2 the walkers were picking things up. Stuffed bunnies, blocks to beat in windows. So variants have always been in the universe.
Got your Oceanside update and trial...what trial. Barely got any of that.

the biggest death will be where Ann takes lori's death in the comic in my opinion.

So sad there is only two episodes left but I have been rewatching and I think variants have always been there slightly. Morgan wife was trying to open the door , when they were in the building where Merle was left there was a walker with a rock and the walker that came into Dale camper looked like the door was closed. I am still where carl makes it through the surgery

I know it’s a mute point now but it’s very annoying that AMC can’t keep their 💩 tightlipped it just takes away from the anticipation the unknown! We all knew nothing was going to happen to Negan nothing is going to happen to Maggie or Darrell or Carol… so they can stop making it seem like omg they might die when we know they won’t. Only when they pulled Negan’s wife we were like ok she might be gone in fact we believe she will be bc again Negan has a show with Maggie & doubt they are going to have “wife” or another kid “newborn” what’s the alternative Negan leaving her to say ok babe I’ll be back? So it almost feels like she’s a goner which will make Negan want to leave. Great reactions mates! 🍻
I feel like when the warden told rosita that she’ll lose everything he was foreshadowing her death as she sacrifices everything to get her daughter to safety and to find her

This was a great episode but a huge missed opportunity especially with the way they started the episode with the events of the 7-1 line up.
We haven't had a tear jerking scary episode in a LONG time and I think we should have lost a few survivors in this episode. It's like they're scared to go there and they had the tension in this episode to do it. Think of them getting picked off one by one with Darryl having to watch thru binoculars and how intense that would be.
Two of the best lines of the series…..time to fuk shit up and step aside hoss.
If the team are in the zombie horde you look for knives in there hands when they were wispers so maybe knife walker saves our people taking the attention idea lol
