I’ve been using Fantastical for over four or five years now and I already learned something. The first point in idea, calendar set even existed!! Thank u 🙏
It is beyond my comprehension why Apple doesn't upgrade their native calendar & mail apps. The calendar is unattractive, & clunky to use, even just compared to Google calendar. The mail app is slow compared to Gmail, & the lack of user modification, especially with notifications, is terrible. Apple spends so much time trying to keep me in their walled garden, I would think upgrading these two long ignored apps would go a long way toward that end.
Their Apple Vision Pro app is what won me over. I now have it running on all of my Apple devices, including a large complication on my watch. I like how it helps me to unplug from work by hiding my work calendar during my off hours.
I guess the one tap work sets are better than the unchecking 4 lists and the fact you can schedule it is dope 😭 dangit stop trying to win me over with glorious features that makes sense!
Try Calendar 366 II. One time payment, costs the same as Fantasticals 3 month payment. Has also natural language input, calender sets, etc. Does 85 % what Fantastical does. Widgets fit more data and have better design than overpriced Fantastical. The only problem that on mac has only menu bar app. But in macOS the native calendar app is also quite okeish, so it's not that big problem. If you use on mac Alfred, it has very good Alfred workflow - you can create events without opening the app.
Is there a blog to get fantastical support?? What I enter an item into outlook, it appears in fantastical on my iphone but when I enter something in the fantastical app on my iphone, it does not appear in outlook on my computer.....
Do u mind making productivity vids that are private company hardware friendly. All these tools seem cool but im pretty limited to google suite at my job and cant justify using a separate calendar app for only my personal life
Hi Stephen, a question about Apple Music. I have an Apple Music problem that after adding albums to library, the release dates are changing and are wrong somehow, do you know how can I fix it?
How do i add “raise to wake” or “tap to wake” ONLY when its on a focus mode? I dont like screen turning on every now and then cz its really distracting. I wud like to turn this in when im on gym focus mode so i can change my songs seamlessly
Interested in your take on task/reminder/todo apps. Been trying out quite a few and can’t decide which to use. Some that I’m looking at that aren’t annual subscription are Apple reminders Things Sorted To Do (Microsoft)
Hi Stephen am trying to Fantastical on your recommendation and it is very good however a question I use outlook calendar in Microsoft 365 on my Mac and would like to have e mails showing in Fantistical- is this possible.?. Thanks
Please do a vid to download mp3 on iphone. I really like downloading my music. It just gives me the comfort that i have this and i can listen to it even without any cell reception. Use shortcuts, third party apps… idc. I just want mp3 files (tagged) on my apple music 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
None of these things justify $100 a year. That’s more than your average streaming service. No one should support a price that outrageous for a calendar app.
@@beardfmI agree. I'm a calendar super user and the amount of heartache some of these features would prevent is well worth the price from what I see here
Looks like a useless app. Too spesific customer target. I'd like to create an event which adds to multiple calendars. but none of the apps do that. its just a simple thing.

Glad you could find something new! Love Fantastical

I agree 100%!
Mail at least has some attention from time to time, but Calendar app is totally forgotten by Apple.
I would really be interested to see how you use the Bear note taking app.
Got a video on that planned soon!
Definitely would love to see more productivity videos. Also I'm curious about why you don't use Notion Calendar if you're a Notion user...
Notion calendar looks awesome but only supports Google calendar so far
Their Apple Vision Pro app is what won me over. I now have it running on all of my Apple devices, including a large complication on my watch. I like how it helps me to unplug from work by hiding my work calendar during my off hours.
Yes! And I should’ve showed it but the Watch app is great
When using a calendar set or focus filters for calendar, do you still receive notifications for events or invitations on other calendars?
Nostalgic with the Nintendo 64 stick on the top! Awesome how you use Fantastical with your family. Thanks for sharing these insights with us 😃
Haha first one to mention that 😉 Thanks!
Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't that an N64 rumble pack? If so super nostalgic!
I just downloaded it because of you ❤
Nice! Hope you enjoy
Well that’s an interesting expensive calendar subscription 😅
HAHA yes, I will say even the free version is worth it, at least in my opinion.
$100 a year... not me.
I guess the one tap work sets are better than the unchecking 4 lists and the fact you can schedule it is dope 😭 dangit stop trying to win me over with glorious features that makes sense!
Haha it’s pretty great! Just sayin’
Thanks sharing. Great app. Blessings on your day!
Same to you!
I love this app but the cost is ridiculous. I would love to get the pro version.
It's an investment for sure. But when the whole family is using it makes it more worth it

Do you use the Live activity for upcoming events?
Fantastical has live activities? I hadn't seen that!

I’m using Fantastical with multiple Google calendars, including company GSuite for work.
I’m overwhelmed 🤪
If it's too complicated, the stock apps are great too!
Hi Stephen, a question about Apple Music. I have an Apple Music problem that after adding albums to library, the release dates are changing and are wrong somehow, do you know how can I fix it?
I’ve been trying all day to get the widgets on my iPhone but just get a blank widget? Can anyone help?
More productivity videos please. Bear notes app sounds good, but also content creation workflow!
Oh that's good! Will do
does 1 premium account cover fantastical on all devices?
Yes! The subscription covers your account everywhere.
I use Apple calendar, can anyone tell me why it’s so convoluted to switch between the various views while in portrait mode!
How do i add “raise to wake” or “tap to wake” ONLY when its on a focus mode?

🔥🔥🔥
Glad that it works for you. But, £60 a year for a calendar app? Give me a break.

Hey! Fantastical does not have a way to view emails in the app, unfortunately.

Hi Stephen great video I tried the paid version on trial but could not get it to link my Microsoft 365 account on my Mac - Did you have any issues Tks
Hm did you try adding it as an "Exchange" account? That's how I've added one.
@@beardfm yes I did
It’s working fine on iPhone and iPad
hah! I made all the sounds for fantastical
Fantastical FTW!
I just remember stuff. If I miss something I also have a good excuse - I forgot.
Ya no. Dam ridiculous price.
Very nice but just way to expensive so I’m gonna pass
Totally get it! Not for everyone, but it's a great app for sure.
I understanding it forbyour usecase nut nah ill stick to Google calender

Pretty reasonable imo.

Pretty useful actually!
