Thanks for doing this, stripped mine dried it and all good, one thing I did was before unscrewing the lens, I scratched marks on the body and lens cap so when I screwed it back in it was in the same place so no focus problems, I also put a bead of silicone behind the outer front cover and the joint behind it, hopefully that will keep the water out.

What are the two sets of wires? I think one set is power but what is the other?
