is it possible to add a options list of unique codes? similar to the short text widget.
Hello Lawrence,
It is possible to populate a dropdown field in your form from an Excel file, but you must first define the options in the dropdown field. The dropdown field will be populated whenever the data from the excel file matches the dropdown field option. If you're trying to create create a dropdown field with unique codes that populates the form fields depending on the selected option from the dropdown field then that's possible with conditions by passing the dropdown value to the spreadsheet to form field. If I use billing address form elements, how to edit the data in my excel file? try to put the sublables, but seems not working.. Tq
Unfortunately, the Address field is not currently supported by Spreadsheet to Form Widget. Only the following fields are supported:
✅Full Name
✅Email
✅Time
✅Short Text
✅Long Text
✅Dropdown
✅Single Choice
✅Multiple Choice
✅Scale Rating
✅Star Rating

As workaround, replace your Address field with multiple short text fields and label them as your address. I have also opened a feature request ticket for you here www.jotform.com/answers/3745793. Once the Address field is supported by this widget, we will let you know.
Hi,
You created Auto fill of entire sheet...can we have form that some entries auto fill and some entries manual.fill and final submitted data needs to go in response sheet...is it possible ?
Well, I think you can do that, as you can see you have to enter the exact name of each record that you want to complete, for example age=age, name=name, for the completed auto and if you don't want it to auto complete, simply don't put that data or it does not exactly match the names of the records

If I understood what you're asking, you want to fill the entire form fields at once? If so, ensure that all the column names matches the field labels in your form so once the entered unique code is found, all the fields will be automatically filled.

Good Day jotform. I wanna know if you have widget with the same function as this but the source of excel data is not upload but rather in submission table in jotform.

@@Jotform I was just making a dropdown and the list of data of it, is refer to the other submssion table from the jotform itself. But everytime new data is being added, it be added to reference submission table and display in the drop down list as well.

can I get the information from jotform tables? instead of having to upload an excel file?
It is not currently possible to use Jotform Tables as data source on Spreadsheet to Form Widget. I opened a request ticket for you here www.jotform.com/answers/3607675. Once this is made possible, we'll let you know.

To update the Excel file you've uploaded into the Spreadsheet to Form widget, you need to upload a new version of the file with the new or revised data. Editing the Excel file directly within the widget is not currently possible.
