You’re right that the printing defect “theme” of the Jedi Series 2 cards is “off-center.” As I’ve mentioned in previous comments, the Topps quality-control progressively declined with each vintage Star Wars set. They didn’t put much care into the card-cutting or surface quality-lots of paint/ink misting, varying color grading, raised lipping on edges, blue paint/ink chipping along edges and corners.
At 13:15, on the “Soldiers of the Empire” card, you asked about the dark line running along the left edge of that card. It’s not a line for purposes of cutting the uncut sheet. They didn’t have a dark outline print line around the border of the uncut sheets as I own some of the vintage Star Wars uncut sheets. This is just another type of “print line” defect where the ink machine would put down random lines and they would usually occur near the edges of the cards.
That’s interesting if they move towards AI - things being automated in the grading process. Not sure if that would be good or bad as machines could make assessment errors too. I know PSA has hired hundreds of new graders at their California and New Jersey offices…so maybe the push for automated is something in the distant future.
Look forward to your Empire Series 3 box rip. **There are two marquee cards from this set: the “Title Introduction Card” (card number **#265**) and another heroes type promotional photo card (number **#328**) titled “Champions of Freedom” which features Han, Leia, Luke and Chewie.”** Hope you get a few of each.

Glad to see the videos….what a shame on that Boba Fett card….one minor scuff….centering is definitely a challenge on these…also, I don’t recall ESB series 3 getting a very wide distribution in central Indiana way back in 1980…I remember being surprised to see them at a Children’s Palace and buying a few packs…I also really liked the yellow borders feeling they were a great accent for the photos….whoever the grader was on that last submission video was wayyy too strict
