I don't have a problem with the Duchess of Edinburgh's "busy" dress. It is modest and pretty and she looks nice in it. If it were ill fitted I could see a criticism but I think she looks lovely. I think Lady Gabriella Windsor's outfit is quite a bit more "busy" than Sophie's dress, but it is none the less, a very lovely outfit.

Yes, her style has reached a whole new level!. Kate's someone that's bided her time with patience and has worked hard to be held in the esteem she is. Incredible style, character and she believes in what she'd doing!

Royal Ascot is the place to parade the most wonderful attire. Princess Anne looked lovely in blue and cream. She always looks elegant. Prince Charles and Queen Camilla were delightful together and smiling. I do agree with your choices. The ladies were lovely and the gentlemen handsome. All were delightful.

A couple of them looked 'costumed' like the freak show at the Met Galas and other American comedy shows. Most were lovely with breezy skirts - but oh, those pointy heels on grass.

You can’t beat Catherine, her dress sense is exquisite, perfection from her hats to her shoes and Sophie is a delight. The others just looked ordinary and the one in the bee keepers hat and dress, what on earth made her wear an evening dress to Royal Ascot, the shiny material, to her boobs almost falling out. I’m sure she could have found something better than that.

Georgia Toffolo - That orange dress....Ugh! and the 2 toned dress with tiny flowers looks like she crafted it at home the previous weekend. It's very, very "busy". It is also revealing and very immodest. I loved the outfit she wore on Day 2. The Jenny Peckham ensemble is a beautiful color and also modest. Definitely a winner!
Considering you have so much to say it would’ve been nice if you’d got Jenny PACKHAM’S name right. I doubt that she’d want to be thought of as coming from Peckham although it is the home of another much loved Englishman Del Boy!

TBH I wasn’t a fan of the bright red on Catherine. It seemed too strong for the races. Her Ascot looks are usually so elegant and sweet, and this years was a real departure from that.
Maxi skirts and dresses are a definite no no for the races as well. They are both impractical and not in keeping with the race wear dress code.
She looked like a real star - red among a sea of white dresses!
The earrings were too "busy" ----and casual ----for the rest of her outfit.
Love Princess Anne but that second outfit was like a schoolgirl uniform from decades ago - very odd.
Kate's earrings don't work in my opinion but the outfit is truly stylish. Separately: Beatrice and Eugenia really need to work with a stylist -- they never, ever dress with taste or style -- and spending huge money with hideous result -- a stylist will help with that.

All previous Queen consorts have used the designation of queen, I.e Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth. The queen mother so why pick on Camilla? It is a precedent followed by the wife’s of all the kings of England for centuries.
Camilla is a queen because she's the wife of the king. A 'Consort' is a job description - all wives and husbands of the reigning sovereign are consorts - it's not a lesser title to that of 'queen'. By calling Camilla a 'consort' doesn't degrade her rank. Whether you use 'queen' or 'queen consort' is irrelevant because as wife of the king Camilla is queen. Prince Albert, Prince Philip, the Queen Mother, and every other spouse of a sovereign were consorts. When William gets the throne Catherine will be a Consort, and as the wife of a king she'll be queen- just like Queen Camilla. Prince George's future wife will also be a consort, and to continue using the word after a Coronation when we clearly know who the sovereign is would be silly- because that's the main reason for its use - to delineate between the sovereign and their spouse on paper, and it's particularly helpful with Royal family trees whereby you can tell who the 'married-in' is by the use of the word 'consort' next to the name. I've seen 'consort' used regarding Dukedoms too, but that's not usual, or necessary. It's perfectly correct that Camilla is called 'queen Camilla' and repeatedly adding 'consort' is not necessary because we know that her husband is Charles III - therefore it's clear who the sovereign is and who the married-in is.

I disagree with your first choice. I thought that dress was ugly and there were many more worthy outfits to choose from, for first place. Princess Catherine, Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Beatrice, and so many more, would rank far higher than Sabrina Elba's dress.
Hana Cross looked lovely except for the fact that she went out of her way to show the skin between her boobs. I always thought that royals were supposed to dress modestly, and this is not modest at all.

She is queen consort, but is called queen. It was the same with all queens married to a king and not being a reigning queen. They are all queen consorts. I think queens like Queen Elisabeth are also actually queen regnant, but are called queen.

Camilla is the wife of the king therefore she's a queen. And she's a consort, like all of the other spouses of the reigning sovereign. Google 'consort' if you don't know what it means and then use the correct title of 'Queen Camilla'.
