I could have guessed 90%of these fragrances before watching it. But, …that’s what makes this selection so powerful. They are must-haves, style basics for every dapper, refined gentleman.
GnTonic does smell refreshing and definitely nowhere near basic even if its lime and ginger combo. The tonic water creates a different feel combined with that smooth drydown. Yes, got this because of your recommendation but micallef has really been a house thats been making awesome releases

i went into a clothing store today and the woman working there absolutely loved my scent. she asked me what cologne i was wearing and i gave her the name of the brand (jean paul gaultier) but said i didn't know the name of the exact fragrance. shortly afterwards she brought it up again, asking me what the bottle looks like, so i searched it up on my phone and showed her the exact one i wear. it definitely feels good when a woman appreciates your scent like that.

Black Phantom is by far my favorite on this list, I would rather have Pegasus Exclusif then the Layton version. 🔥💯 I’m sorry but S-Boy smells very similar to other scents most of us have, n def not worth that tag (my opinion). Other then that great list as usual gorgeous ❤❤

Great list Andrea!! Cedrat Boise is a great entry level niche! Club de nuit intense man edp is amazing as well! It takes that harsh lemon opening that most don't like away and it stays smooth throughout the life of the fragrance! ❤❤❤
You mentioned CDIM and said it takes the harsh lemon opening away. You were referring to CDIM with that statement, right? Or were you referring to Cedrat Boise, but just worded your comment incorrectly? I ask because I don't think I've ever seen anybody accuse CDIM of not having that lemon opening.
To be clear, I think that most of the people I see complain about the CDIM opening, are just trying to act pretentious and that they're too good for an Aventus clone. Or they're people who just don't understand fragrances very well. It's a bit silly to act like a fragrance is bad because of a very short lived opening that you only smell if you're right on top of the scent. It's almost like saying you think a certain model of phone is horrible because you don't like the image that flashes on the screen for a second when you power it on. It's the sillage and scent bubble around you after you've had it on your skin for more than a few minutes that everyone around you actually smells, and that smells great.
@closinginonclosure I agree with you 100% I have owned all of the club de nuit intense man clones and to my nose the edt has a harsh lemon opening. To that which I actually enjoy but to hear every single person that's has owned the fragrance or at least one from the line has said cdnim edt has a harsh lemon opening. With that being said I personally think in my opinion that cdnim eau de parfum is a better clone because it tones down that lemon opening that most people do not enjoy
@@brianclark6294 Ah, right on. I'm following you now. I wasn't exactly sure what you were comparing to because you didn't mention the EDT in your original comment. But yeah, I've seen people say that about the EDT, and I personally find the lemon comments a bit ignorant, but to each their own I guess. Funny enough, I've seen people say the exact same thing about the EDP. Haha. I personally think they're both great. Anyway, excuse my initial confusion about what you meant, and thanks for the clarification.

Yeah some people act like they know about a fragrance even if they havnt even tried it. I always say everyone is different and everyone's skin is different. It's not going to smell or react the same on everyone

Some people probably haven't even smelled certain things but just hop on bandwagons and parrot things. It's weird. And yeah, different fragrances can definitely smell different on different people depending on body chemistry. But there's also a little common sense and knowledge that needs to be injected in reaching certain conclusions. Oh well. Let the ignorance of certain people continue I guess. Haha. That's less people wearing certain scents and increases the likelihood of us who get it to smell unique to the fragrance lamen.

Dear Andrea, thank you very much for the recommendations you share with us in a very humorous (and very good looking) way. I ordered a lot of various samples of your choices. I'm married for 32 years and I like to surprise my very dear and pretty girl, wife and mother of our two sons. 🥰 I spray it on my skin and say nothing, just see how she reacts. I'm a music teacher at high school and a pianist in several bands and choirs. For me it's important to be a clean and good smelling and dressed 63 year old man. When I first got back into fragments is about 2015/16 the first cologne that I got was TERRE Hermès and I did not love how it smelled but the reaction I got constantly was second to none. I ended up buying creed Aventis once that bottle of Terre was gone and I did not get the same reaction. Despite the fact I paid three times the price.

Folks! I went to arguably the biggest and best Niche store in Canada. The 20+ year expert perfumer said Estee Lauder replaced natural notes with synthetics in Initio, Tom Ford, PDM, Jo Malone, Le Labo. and the frags are much weaker with more alcohol. Ambroxan is amped up like crazy. If you smell right after 1st spray and it smells like gasoline that is ambroxan. I have over 10 bottles of these former companies. Why didnt the bottles say Reformulated or have Estee Lauder name ???
I’ve gotten significantly more compliments wearing Cedrat Boise (screw cap) than Aventus. No they don’t smell the same but both can be worn basically anytime.

Sauvage gets me compliments every time I wear it, and also Blue Seduction gets me compliments and people asking me what is that I'm wearing.

Try layering Prada Luna Rossa Black with SBOY. And it's a skin scent the next morning.
Also I have Cedrat Boise with the magnetic cap I bought 6 months ago and it is one of the best performing fragrances I own. 9+ hrs on skin and on clothes it lasts a couple of days.
But didn't she implied that if you don't have the screw cap for cedrat then it won't last as long 🤷♂️

Is PDM, Tom Ford, Initio, and Killian reformulated to have more alcohol %, synthetic notes instead of natural, and weaker performance??? I heard Estee Lauder did this to save $. Ive been reading people's comments that they smelled less appealing and weaker. Thanks !
