Canada: Tornado hits suburb of second biggest city 7-24-2024

Aftermath of a rare occurrence of a tornado reported last night at 8h pm in Brossard, Québec, Canada in the south shore suburbs of Montréal. Moderate damage in addition to an overturned truck was spotted in a neighborhood at the corner of Matte Blvd and Du Quartier Blvd where scattered debris had amassed along roadways. No injuries reported and widespread power outages have left hundreds of citizens in the dark. Emergency services were kept busy to intervene and keep the public safe after trees and power poles fell down. Tow truck and city crews worked immediately after and in the hours following the natural disaster to clear roads and fix damaged properties. Images seen in this video were filmed at 11h pm Wednesday July 24th 2024 during recovery and cleanup stages.
