No. Javonte getting full carries only pads stats. Having a thunder and lightning attack is better for the team. Limits fatigue and injury. Same results.
One of the few bright spots in a dismal Broncos season....kudos to George Paton for having the insight to trade up to grab this guy in the draft!! He's the best back we've had since Clinton Portis, who was the best back we've had since Terrell Davis!
Melvin Gordon did these things too, and despite his very untimely fumbles he was as good or better (on paper). Lot's of fans are also forgetting some of his game sealing td runs. Gordon back with Williams would be nasty with a new OC
This man is just so hard to bring down its ridiculous. The way he is able to keep his legs moving while staying balanced through contact is a rare trait. Lets hope Denver features him more this year to be the perfect compliment to Russell's air game.
Pat Shurmer sucked. But the way he was able to use both these RBs in the running game was actually good. I know imma get hate for that but it’s true. They could of been used more in the passing game though.
@@holiday42020 I feel Shurmur tended to misuse both Williams and Gordon in key situations. Gordon is fast, while Gordon can bust holes through defenders, yet there was an obnoxious amount of times where Shurmur would have Gordon running straight through the center and Williams taking sweeping runs.
I watched him in college and, unfortunately, I witnessed what he did to my Canes his last season in college. I wanted the Dolphins to draft him in the top of the 2nd round but Denver jumped in front of us to take him. However, I’m glad we got Holland instead.

It's been a minute since I've seen someone running like Javonte. This would be an unpopular opinion but the only running back above Javonte right now is Jonathan Taylor. Other than that, i truly believe he's going to showcase his talents next year with Mr.Unlimited running the offense.
Dude is awesome. He's not braggadocios. He gets it done, and I do mean GETS IT DONE, and then gets back to the huddle. That's the signs of a team player.
I really hope the next head coach will use Williams more than the last guy cause this guy should have had well over 1,500 rushing and at least 1000 in receiving
