My "Jersey Girl" died, unexpectedly, on 30 Dec 2019, this was the song I played for her when we met. I played it at her service. I miss her so much.

I was 15 years old and this was one of the first albums i ever bought. My friends thought i was fucked in the head, but i knew i was listening to something magical. All these years later, this song is still so beautiful

Reminds me of cruising late at night In my friends 70 Cuda out in the desert scablands if Eastern Washington. Hot moonlit nights, with cold beer and Tom on the tape player. Unforgettable. Great times back in the day . I'm 74 now and thank God for the memories!

I got to see Tom in the mid 70’s at The Beacon Theater in NYC. He was brilliant. This is a delicious song.
I saw him in the 70’s open for Maria Muldaur. He was incredible.

This song is everything
I've been a Waits fan all my (and his) life and never feel uncomfortable to announce it to anyone interested. Some of his fans seem to recoil from admitting to it but let me assure you you're doing us all a service by introducing others to his wonderful music and compositions. So far I've preached his work to my children, grandchildren and now my first great grandchild. If I ever get a great great grandchild then she or he will also hear this old fool introducing them to the great great Tom Waits.
The Boss did that justice, but this one is OG. Untouchable, so nice.
