I just got one , I put it together in under an hour, I didn’t use the instructions but twice , I watched about 4 different videos to cross reference because there is no one video answer anywhere on the www for putting this thing together, I am a master tinkerer so putting things together for me is less of a challenge than the average joe , my biggest challenge is going to be getting this thing programmed and getting the feel and knowing its capacity 😀🤘🏼

I commented yesterday on the Universal Test Card (Ver. 8) about just using portions of this test for engraving because I don't want to cut with my laser. But after watching this review, when I get to the cutting point, this will be a laser I would seriously consider! Thanks again for all you do with these tutorials for newbies such as myself.

one of the better reviews on this laser.....no BS....just honesty....1 note about this laser.....have seen comments (many i might say) on longevity of laser over time....great power out of the box (as you mentioned), but degrades faster than the others ( xtool, ortur, atomstack, etc,etc,etc)..... maybe they are running 100% power?......granted this is only in the $200-250 range, but having to replace the module soon....???? IDK.....that would be a pain... so all in all, great review.....it's not up there with the big boys....but neither is its pricetag.

The shield is a personal preference and has nothing to do with the actual engraving. It's there to help protect your eyes and the eyes of others, like children and pets. I have done about 50 assemblies, so I'm used to it. I'm happy the newer ones are far easier!

Ugh got the belt on easy once I checked what I did wrong. Now I find that the screws that hold laser in place were not in the box. Man what else can go wrong.
