No high price lawyer or record exec hushing things up with authorities when you get caught.

Zappa used to stay up for multiple days sometimes, obviously, he used tons of coffee and cigarettes to stimulate himself and stay awake. Just a very different person than the majority of people who sure like to rest and not work as much.
I think drugs and alcohol are humane. I'd even consider using some type of substance on farm animals before harvesting them for meat. I just think it's a touch of grace on the less savory side of life.

I've always loved Zappa. But his drug of choice was tobacco, the new chemicalized American version, and it killed him.
