Trying to figure out if the flight model is altered by Black Square. Same questions when it comes to the sound in both cockpit and outside.
It definitely feels different/better than the default aircraft. The PDF it comes with says it's an improved flight model based on real world pilot feedback and real flight data. They also note it accounts for drag from cowl flaps and the AC condenser scoop. Airspeed performance is also impacted by fouled plugs or a poorly maintained engine. As for sounds the TC model has some nice turbo noises but I don't know about the naturally aspirate models as I haven't really flow them.
It feels different, I like it a lot better than the default.
The sounds for the turbocharged version are notably different, as the other commenter mentioned.
There are some new sounds too. When the engine is hot and it's cooling down you can actually hear it. I don't believe I've heard that before.
Great but..they dropped the ball when they were too lazy to put in doors and windows that work.
Using the term 'too lazy' for this dev - couldn't be further from the truth. Anyway just to let you know there's absolutely zero the developer can do about that, he doesn't have permission to alter the door code. that's the curse that comes with using the Asobo models. The cockpit window does open, though, with all associated effects and sounds. Thank you.
