In a vacuum I don’t have a problem with Charizard being the poster child for everything. I mean heck, I like Lucario despite the similar amount of promotion he receives. Problem is (and same goes for greninja) is that he’s part of a starter set, and you can’t really show off one without the other two. Maybe they should have made Rapidash the fire starter and Charizard is a late game boss

That damn Iono card delayed me from completing the restof Paldea evolved before this set came out... oh well.

Love the Scizor. I really wish they'd print both Scyther and Onyx in metal typing at least once so that we could play Scizor and Steelix in GLC. Seems weird playing metal in GLC without being able to play either of the original steel types.

The pull rates for the tyranitar v full art feels extremely rare, i never saw anyone pull it and i do have a feeling it’ll be £60 and over
I think Lost Box Mirage Gate variants might took advantage of League HQ because the fact that Comfey and Colress can put 4+ LZ cards as fast as possible, Mirage Gate can bypass the effect of League HQ since Sableye's Lost Mine is [P] and Cramorant just ignore it anyway. Although it hurts other tech cards like RadZard, Dragonite, or Raikou will hurt so much. Who knows, Lost Box will still run League HQ to counter mirror

Pulled that exact same Special Illustrator Eiscue ex and Cleffa yesterday! Got them in my 3 packs for playing at a prerelease, in addition to a full art Tyranitar ex and Glimmora ex! The day before I'd gone to a prerelease and pulled the Secret Art Charizard ex!

Charizard EX might be the big dog in this set...but I think Eiscue EX stole the show. It may not be a good card......but the artwork is so gooooood

Truth be known, it has a zard so probably. To be honest the set is very very underwhelming, but people love the chunky lizard.
