- It is not only the Christian Worldview that claims exclusively to be the truth, as is commonly (and erroneously) thought. Rather, all major world religions and worldviews claim to be exclusively true in their perspective on reality. Atheism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Polytheism, etc all claim to be the sole possessors of truth.
How then can we know which one is correct (if any)? By subjecting them to WORLDVIEW TESTS in which we investigate how they answer the questions of Origin, Meaning, Morality, and Destiny.
Other worldview test will include internal consistency, experiential relevancy, and scientific adequacy.
Of all the Worldviews, philosophies, and world religions that exist/have existed, which one best explains the known features of our reality with the most COMPREHENSIVE and INTELLECTUALLY SATISFYING ?? The classical Christian Theistic Worldview.
The 100% accuracy of Bible prophecy, including those for the end time, is how I know Christianity is true, and Jesus Christ is the Savior. There's a reason why the Bible is the #1 best selling and most distributed Book of all-time... and that is to fulfill the Great Commission which Jesus had prophesied,"Go into every nation with the My gospel".
Being number one in sales doesn't make it the truth, the Bible is proven to be corrupt and has scandalous interpretations in it and you don't even know who wrote it, anonymous authors ,and of course you have countless different versions. I feel sorry for you

We know who wrote it, there were about 40 people through visions from God, where 35 of them were basically given credit. 2000 out of the 2500 prophecies have already come true with numerous other ones currently on the go.
Faith and faith alone in Jesus is what saves, nothing else.

@@abhmd4481 the fact that there are multiple interpretations of “the perfect word of God” is proof that 1 or more of 3 things are true of an omniscient and omnipotent Yahweh:
1. He is not omniscient. An omniscient God would know exactly how that message would be received.
2. He is not omnipotent. A maximally powerful God that is able to perfectly achieve anything he desires would be able to word a message such that it cannot be misinterpreted.
3. If 1 & 2 are true, he is a liar or vile. If an all-knowing all-powerful God purposefully sends a message knowing full well it will be interpreted incorrectly, such as being used to justify slave trades a few hundred years ago, then he willingly sent them an untrue message. Unless you are willing to contend that he MEANT for them to interpret it as “Slave trade is ok” then he is an absolutely vile God that should not be worshipped.

John 3:17 says, “God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” By sacrificing himself for us on the cross, he took the punishment for all of our sins at once. This made him the ultimate sacrifice -once and for all satisfying the demands God’s justice required. That is why we call Jesus “Lamb of God.”

Others do not need to claim that. In Norse pagan belief, there is no need of a savior. In Judeo-Christian teachings we are all condemned to hell for the original sin of mankind when Adam and Eve at the fruit. Only to be redeemed by a belief and acceptance of Jesus Christ who died for us. So then by that set of rules, a young child of 3 months who dies is damned to hell. If you want to deny that, show me the scripture, but I’ve read it. If that God, Yahweh, does exist then I do not hold him to be a God worthy of veneration, that he would damn a 3 month old child for the sins of his original ancestors.
From a Norse heiðinn perspective, I contend that the child’s soul and mind are at rest in Helheim, under the protection and care of Hel, goddess of the dead appointed by Óðinn. (Not to be conflated with Lucifer’s Hell in the Judeo-Christian tradition) This child is with his ancestors and his orlogg now contributes to his parent and older brothers that survive him. No need for acceptance of a savior because a 3 month old child is not responsible for anything nor capable of accepting any oaths or beliefs.

Origin: we were created by the Gods, specifically Óðinn, Vili, and Ve.
Meaning: we are to live our life with honor and courage until the day we are fated to die. Our life culminates in the legacy we leave for our sons, daughters, relatives, and those we have adopted into our frith web through ties of friendship and love.
Morality: We take care of those that care for us. We build frith bonds with those around us, in our village (however widespread that may be, even digitally) and we honor our ancestors who have guided us to where we are today; or in some cases deny the path of those ancestors who have lead their legacy down a broken path and instead forge a new one for our legacy.
Destiny: our hugr (soul) and fylgja (mind) go to rest in Helheim (NOT Hell) under the care of Hel, the Goddess of the dead appointed by Óðinn, where they watch over and offer spiritual aid to their legacy. Our hamr (body) returns to the earth. Lastly, our hamingja (luck) is added to the ancestral luck of those that survive us.
Other religions can answer all of those and claim that Gods exist and the universe exists.

Christianity is not a man made organized religion, salvation is for anyone who is willing to repent and follow Jesus. God created us all, but that does not mean that we are all children of God. have you heard of the dead sea scrolls....or the Greek manuscripts. Isaiah the book has been proven against the dead sea scrolls as legitimate in text. Buddhist, especially Mahayana has aspiration is to help all sentient being that includes Tibetans so obviously, the Dalai Lama being the most eminent leader of the Tibetans has the responsibility and desire to help Tibetan under Chinese.

Buddha was not a real Arya, but part Mleccha who also followed Vedic system but were not ethical and morally as strong and so initially had not been allowed inside Aryavart, officially. Buddha had taken on the task of teaching the Mleccha migrants about Vedic, Sanatan Dharma as practiced by the local Arya descendants. He wanted them to be peaceful and not cruel like Ashoka (who was not the only cruel non-Arya king in those days.) Such people had obviously become his enemies since he was challenging their lifestyles and many had tried to kill him.
In later years, his followers (once again) started to forget the actual teachings and were more into copy-cat behaviour which is harmful. Just the way one may be warned not to do a circus act at home. So then, concerned people like Shankracharyaji had to go on a mission to teach people how to do things correctly rather than just blindly copying. Also, the mlecchas mainly spole Praktrit which is a distorted way of speaking Sanskrit. This was ruining many of the original meanings of the Vedic teachings. Maya is like a voice operated computer system and saying the correct word correctly is important.( For example, if you say fan instead of tan, it is going to change the meaning.) And yet they did manage to preserve a lot of the knowledge in writing and stored it in monastries in modern day Tibet. From there a lot was stolen by Hitler and from their by the Allied forces. They are still trying to figure out the meanings which they know hold a lot of power. Even though they may not admit it, everyone wants a piece of that pie, no matter what they may say to people's faces.

Caste system came into India with the dawn of the age of Kaliyuga which is the current time (read about this and you will understand the predictions given in hinduism which are now true), caste system which is actually called varna ashrama was a distinction of people based on their karma, that means if you are in any ruling position like kings, politicians, bureaucrats,etc are called kshatriya, priests are called Brahmins, service based workers as Shudras and traders as Vaishyas, this caste of a person is decided by what he does in life not by hereditary, that means your caste is not decided until you decide in life what is your calling/karma, if you chose to be a soldier then you are a kshatriya, if you chose to be a businessman then you are a Vaishya and so on. but after the dawn of this evil era, Brahmins and Kshatriyas got evil and started enforcing their laws onto the shudras to gain control over their kingdoms, Kshatriyas would obey to brahmins bcoz they were priests and so the shudras were the ones persecuted, nowhere in the vedas or bhagvad gita it is written that the caste of a person is decided by his birth, and nowhere is it written in the vedas that one caste is greater than the other, in fact they say the Karma is what decides the fate of a human being. I am not referring to the misunderstandings that may have entered or the popular notions in the minds of people. But fact is, Varnashram is NOT the same as caste system. Varnashram in general is based on karma both past and present. Caste is an 'invention' of the British who had many in their country such as the lords and the serfs. They have always had battles between different faiths such as Protestant and Catholic. Realistically speaking it is wrong to say that India was open to all faiths. Although they did accept asylum seekers the way many countries do today and allowed them to practice their faith provided they followed the laws of the land. Since British and Mughals before them were not actually asylum seekers but invaders, they had no real intention of being peaceful migrants. This is why there were numerous wars the most famous ones being those with Sivaji and Rana Pratap. But since these guys were relentless and forced, co-erced, manipulated people into conversions mainly by killing and raping, their offspring, being Indian citizens, had to be tolerated, which brings us to the confusion of modern Indian. In the ancient days, people were fiercely protective of Sanatan dharma because its the one and only truth about this Maya system that we live in. Many people have dedicated their lives for the protection of this, for example Sri Shankracharyaji etc. And FYI please do not assume I am a Christian just because my name sounds like one.

Bro. Ravi is quick to nail the poor Buddhist lady-monk to the wall (so to speak), in many of his talks; but I feel that Christianity also fails to answer many serious questions. Why so much suffering if God is both all powerful and loving...and please don't give me "free will" as the answer. My children have free-will, but many times I block their will to save them from unnecessary pain and grief. Only the law of Karma van begin to address this issue with some degree of coherence...it doesn't address it perfectly, but it addresses the issue of human suffering much better than Christianity seems too; btw, I consider myself to be a Christian...a disillusioned Christian, but a Christian.
John Yohannan how do you know that God doesnt block / guide you away sometimes from doing bad stuff? Just for a experiment, suppose that you where God for a couple of weeks and able to block what you see as evil. Would you do a better job? And how do you discern what is evil? This is not an easy question. I read a while ago that a well known atheist in australia became christian after he became very sick, i think he got a stroke. This is very common, suffering and pain lead people to a relationship with God. Because when everything was nice and dandy, they didnt think about deeper questions. So when is evil bad? How do we know the end result?
No free will, no love. Simple. Yes there is pain and suffering, but God offers an answer that is greater than all the suffering in the world. His peace. God definitely is holding back some of the evil in the world. I have no doubt if God allowed all hearts to harden, the world would be a much worse place to live.
Left Christianity...left all religions. Am an agnostic-atheist now. Worldwide pain and suffering...unanswered...it is the Achilles Heel of all religions. Because if God created man without free will, we would be mindless robots. It would not be just and it would not be loving. This is the underline fact. From here: suffering and pain. Death. Eternal death. But the good news is, we don’t have to be a part of that. We will still suffer things such as pain and sickness and death as a part of our curse. But wickedness and cruelty like torture or all the horrible things people do, that is from man or from demonic influence, not from God. God didn’t have to come and die for us. He could’ve left us to rot for our own choices. But he did. Because he doesn’t want that for us. BECAUSE God is just and perfect, he must hate sin and evil. BECAUSE God is righteous, he must condemn sinners. because God is loving he gave us a way to escape, with his own blood. God has done what he said he would do since the very start, without lie. So to answer the why do bad things happen: God sees. It grieves him to see us suffering. But if he intervened in every single way to stop those things, which he has the ability to do, then this life would be pain free and like heaven. That’s what was promised to man but we lost it. And it’s still promised, in the next life. But for now we live in a fallen state. Thank you Jesus for your mercy because none of us deserves what he did to save us from that death, for OUR sins. Still, its just speculation not based on logical facts since all apostles, saints etc.are writing completely different accounts. In any case he was just one of many rebels who were fighting the Roman yoke. They were ALL crucified. In greek aggelos means just a messenger and christos just means a good man. Then why did he named the Dalai Lama? Ravi knowledge of Buddhism is very shallow as such he falls into the trap "Little knowledge is dangerous". His quote on "desire and Dalai Lama" is totally misunderstood. The desire aka of Mahayana Buddhist is to help all sentient being.
