I took the time to calculate how long Gavin lasted in each round, just to see how bad it really was this episode.
Below I have Gavin's lifespan per round that he did die in, which was quite a bit as you will see.
One minutes, forty four seconds, 1st person dead, innocent, killed by Geoff.
Twelve seconds, 2nd person dead, innocent, killed by Geoff.

I like how they're trying new ways of editing the videos, but personally I don't feel like hiding everyone's roles works, I always found it funny knowing who's the traitor and then watching the ridiculous antics they start. Just my opinion! Still a hilarious video! Keep up the awesome work guys!!
They do this terribly dude, You can look at their crosshair, the bottom right side when the scroll or even when they pick stuff up lol.
I like it because they don't do it every time just a few of the times when everyone is acting sketchy

I agree with the "mystery bars are unnecessary" camp, although its a novel idea to try. I prefer knowing who's what role to trying to figure it out, personally.
My problem is that it's basically impossible to actually hide all of the tells that someone is a traitor in the UI. Crosshair color, weapon selection color, messages in the top right... by the time they actually manage to hide anything, it would just look unsightly.
It also tells your role in the middle bottom part of the screen aswell for a few seconds at the start of each round..

it's quite easy to tell even with them covering it. The reticle is green if you're innocent and red if you're a traitor. Also there are a lot of traitor-only messages that pop up in the top right.
Also when they are switching weapons if you look at the menu that pops up on the right, it's got the red and green tell of who is what.

I agree with you. The newer games with all the various roles are too complicated for my aging brain 😅 That, and 1. In these older ones they seemed to interact with each other more, whereas now it often seems like a group of people playing together, but all having independent conversations much of the time, and 2. The longer they play the more arbitrary their decisions seem to me. Might just be because, as I said, I struggle to keep up with all the “roles”, but a lot of the time it just seems like they are randomly killing each other, and letting the comedy of the “roles” carry the video.
@@GreyPajamas I think part of that is just the nature of playing a game so much. I still enjoy Minecraft and GTA a lot and watch every week, but a lot of the comedy is situational.

Mungo Not really. They usually waited and only killed someone when they suspected that they were the terrorist/killer. In this vid, they just randomly killed anyone they saw, and, in some cases, the first person killed happened to be the terrorist.

I mean, the question bars are a nice touch editors. I just, don't see the point for us audience to not know who's who.
Weston Flame its so easy to tell anyway, they dont blur out the colour of the number when they switch weapons, and they still show the thing in the top right if a traitor is given credits
There's that and in my opinion the colour of the crosshair is the dead giveaway (green is good, red is traitor)
I don't regularly play ttt and not seeing the bar made this quite tense for me. I don't know about colored crosshairs or numbers, so I didn't look for that stuff. Us not knowing who the traitor is gives us the opportunity to pretty much play the game with them, we don't know anything more than them and I found it quite enjoyable
The wierd part is that they only did it sometimes.

You can definitely have 2 traitors with less than 8. I've seen a game with 4 people... and 3 traitors.
You may need to use the in line commands though. Something like sv_traitor_perc 33, probably.

Well the problem started about half year ago with their content getting boring, and also just got worse when they hired Fiona. Like you are legit watching one of AH's last great videos. And I'm being serious about that. The last (decently) entertaining video I watched by them was Jeremy's play-through of Spyro during Extra Life 2018. Honestly pretty sad about it.
Just in case anyone is wondering, you can also look at the color of the tabs in the item menu when they switch weapons. It's in the bottom right corner, and if the color is red they are the traitor. Also shows when the person picks up a weapon on the right edge of the screen. Example: 51:15 Jeremy switches to his magneto stick and in the bottom right all the tabs marking the numbers are red, not green.
When the traitor/innocent tags were blurred you could see traitor info in the top right of Trevor's screen.
EDIT: The more i watch the more I see it happening. Not a big deal at all but it just ruins what they're going for.

I don't get criticism that is based on opinions only. I feel like it should have to be something based on the quality of the video and not your own standard of dressing/hairstyle/etc that has bothered you so much that you couldn't refrain from commenting something snarky about them.

Not showing who is innocent and who is a traitor makes this video noticeably worse.
The role censorship isn't as effective when we can see "You are an innocent Terrorist! But there are traitors around..." at the beginning.

The getting mugged thing isn't that bad. Because they do stuff/drive around so you never quite know when a mugger is coming. That kinda makes it fun.
In this case, not so much. I'm 12 minutes in and if I was Gavin, I'd get up and leave. Or take my phone out and do stuff on it and just sit there without doing anything in the game. It basically wouldn't really change anything because he get's insta killed every single round by whoever is around. I wouldn't sit at my desk for that. Get up and get something to drink or take a shit. That'd be more productive use of that time.

But I can see how I wouldn't fit in. I was done with that constant use of "sprunking" a few minutes into the first GTA race (and the act of sprunking someone on purpose isn't my style either). The races themselves are great though.
And don't take it so hard. I don't have to love every single thing they do and I can say when I dislike something. Doesn't mean I hate them in any way.
PS: Maybe I could've edited the comment, since it really became better after the first 12 minutes. And that's where I commented initially, without taking the time to go back and revise my comment after having watched the whole thing. Overall it balanced out, because it turned into everybody shooting everybody for little reason, and not just everyone picking Gavin off. I would say previous versions were a little bit better though. And more serial killer Jeremy would've been cool as well. That gem came way too late.
