Adult Swim May 2005 Saturday ACTN Bumps

- The Tokyo bumps returned for a while during the Inuyasha Movie and I would assume during Metropolis. There were some Futurama bumps and Samurai Champloo bumps too because those shows were part of the lineup, Samurai Champloo was a brand new show at the time. The Tokyo bumps originally aired from July 2004 until January 2005 when they were replaced by the early set of ACTN bumps that didn't last too long.

thank you sooo much for doing this. Think you can timestamp these?
Also I really wish that we could figure out what in the hell song they used on Making Your Future. So damn catchy.
You’re doing Gods work, my son.
Thank you!
I really miss you old adult swim
growing up is when you realize AS had the best soothing chill music over the bumpers in the mid 2000s, so nostalgic .
Those 2005 Futurama adult swim promos were in the deepest parts of my memory. I swear they could all be my wallpaper
They need to dring the old adult swim bump back its a lot of memories
the wallpapers they had of the Tokyo bumps were my jam back in '05
I had the //Fujiyama 06:02 AM one as my wallpaper for a while. The only ones I actually saw on TV back then were that one and the Minato Ku 12:27 AM tower. This was in 2007 or so, they usually came on during Bleach. I didn't watch [as] until late 2005-2006.
From late 2003 - till October 2006 it was my hubby taping all the Inuyasha episods, bumps & promos on VHS tapes. I sure do miss those days 🖤
Your husband was an Inuyasha fan?
Spring 2005 was really cool because you had a mix of both the ACTN bumps and the older Tokyo bumps. IIRC, the Mt. Fuji bump occasionally popped up from time to time until 2007.
Late 2004 and pretty much all of 2005 was Adult Swim at its greatest
Man I used love this bumps even when they had them in Japanese
Yup, I uploaded the Japanese language bumps here too. I remember i used to wake up so early just to watch them lol. Remember the one with the red pac man dancing? lol
Heck ya yo I used to laugh at that
@@doreanlindsey7112 Me and my brother used to do that too lol. We used to wake up just to watch it. Then Big O used to come on. lol. Are you interested in some old recordings?
Heck ya dude some of those recordings brung back a lot of good memories
@@doreanlindsey7112 They are pretty much full recordings. I'd love to share them with you through a private messaging way.
"well go on over to carl central and watch to your hearts content"
Favourite bump is at 4:35
I was more into the still photos where its just architecture or something nice to look at. Adult swim did that well, now they do those video bumps now
RIP Family Guy Adult Swim
man, I really love those Tokyo bumps. shame they retired many of them so early on
4:09 - I bought a happi at that exact same market in 2007.
Samurai Champloo is a great show, from what I’ve seen of it. I guess the guys at Williams Street really liked it too, because, in 2016, they brought it back on Toonami as a replacement for fellow Shinichiro Watanabe series Michiko & Hatchin. They wanted to air The Woman Called Fujiko Mine, which is a darker take on the Lupin III universe that’s closer to Monkey Punch’s original comics, but Standards & Practices wouldn’t allow it, because it is a very fucked up show. As a result, Champloo was put on at the last second.
I always liked the card at 1:12. Indicative of Sakura Matsuri (Spring Festival).
6:32 nostalgic
5:20 my nickname :D
Jay?
they also were in 2006 (Tokyo bumps)
The Tennis Player ran until March 2007 (Because of those stupid Super Deluxe ads), Fujiyama, and Tokyo Tower ones ran up until the end of May 2007 (June 2007 had new ACTN Bumps so these were replaced with ACTN Train, and ACTN Trailer Tractor) All the Tokyo bumps started on July 3, 2004 and regularly showed until January 2005, with the exception of May 14, 2005 (Metropolis) & May 21, 2005 (Inuyasha Movie 1).
Anybody know the music?
I have a comment here with a list of it all. :) I thought i pinned it but it doesnt seem to be pinned so i'll do it again.
@@bumparchive oh wow I just realized they were there but thanks so much. These bumps were so good
