The power and torque readings seems spot on for me. I have the 1.9 TTiD (twin turbo diesel- you didn't get any diesels in the US). They're rated 180bhp and 400nm stock (295 ft lb). My eSID reads 184bhp and 407nm 😁 P.s. I managed to buy mine 2nd hand for £60 (75 USD) 😁😁

Ordered one yesterday so hopefully I'll get it after the weekend. Looking forward to read out the kodes . Hopefully that will give me a clue of what's wrong with the auxiliary heater that is the best feature of the car in snowy Sweden atm. Just depressing knowing that there is an auxiliary heater that the side let me start with the key remote if you don't wanna set a time manually before leaving the car. But no pleasure or warm car when that stupid German heater brake down in every 9-3 TiD & TTiD >:(

Sometimes tire pressure needs some time to show up. Unless it's been disabled on your vehicle with a Tech 2, which is possible. Also, even if you're tuned on e85 it will not tell you the ethanol content. Possibly only works with the European biopower models.

Looking this up because I just ordered one. I had to replace the windshield on my 9-3 and ever since the rain sensors work like crap. So I lost intermittent wiper mode..
When I read that the Esid2 can let you set your own intermittent mode then I bought it.
I want to see what the differences are in power gains too, after I put in my exhaust and tune.
I'm not going to Dyno it but I do have the Torque Android App and I guess I could check the differences between them.

Regarding this esid3, does it really do anything more than a decent $50 OBD2 can do? It seems like it does the same, but on a smaller more fiddly display as opposed to connecting a regular one to a decent mobile app? Seems a very high price for what appears to be a lesser item. Convince me otherwise?

BHP AND TORQUE READINGS ISSUE: My 2008 TiD is chipped witha 73bhp increase and I have an Android DVD/CD head unit (2 DIN) and Torque Pro app fed via OBD2 ELM327 plug. I get many many more readings and I can choose the layouts of pages of dials, graphs, charts, input safety thresholds so that dials flash and warning beeps go off etc. And having live Load and Boost gauges lets me drive more economically (EG - 6th gear on the Aisin AF40 flappy-paddle auto box is not economical under 90mph, so only good for German Autobahns). Anyway, my Torque and BHP figures are mismatched too, because the MAF sensor maxes out at 22.3psi. The Turbo was 0.7BAR for 150bhp, but is now set at 1.8BAR for 223bhp. So it's worth checking the abilities of the existing sensors, but also, what the car's ECU is translating performance into, seems as you have a piggy-back ECU modification.

Here is a project for you buddy, I know you did a video on the new 9-5 estate (I think you call them a wagon) but I challenge you to find out if the Estate ever made it on to the road. These are the facts I know. Saab were ready to take the 9-5 estate to market just before it was going to released on general sale throughout Europe when it went bust. A few estates were seen plated and rumours of emergency services getting them first in Sweden. Lots of estates had been made and were on site in Trollhattan ( what happened to those?) They are know as the Unicorn SAAB. I have searched Swedish Auto sales sites and I have never seen any for sale. The problem getting info is that any good info comes direct from Sweden but their lies the problem...I don't speak Swedish.

In 2012 when saab was shut down most prototypes was shiped back from all over the word some for auction and some was crushed. However #36 stayed in Englad for many years and was sold of from the inventory to auction and had 2 ownerchanges before some Swedish guy came there and bought it and brought it back home.
