Sooooo. I did take back the one $16 shirt to Kohl's and guess what. All those clothes are now another 50% off. Maybe I should have returned them all and tried to rebuy them. But I only had the one shirt with me and of course. The Kohl's is 50 minutes away from me. And I was not going to go back for them. I'm telling myself that had I waited another week. The clothes I bought in my size would mostly have been gone. Which makes me feel better. And I did get a $10 Kohl's cash so that makes up for a little bit of it. Technically, that still means. I spent about $19 more than had I waited a week and been able to find it all. But since $15 of that would have been for the swimsuit and since it was the only one they are. I'm telling myself it would have definitely been gone had I tried to wait a week and then I don't feel so bad.
I had a great day shopping. It's weird how much fun I had that day. So many times recently I go clothes shopping and hate everything. But this day I was loving so much.
Yes... I normally way over pack. I take a whole carry-on sized just for toiletries for just an overnight stay and I'd like to only take that size for clothes and everything else for 2 weeks so it will be interesting.
Excited to see what you got! I haven't been to a Goodwill in a long time, we don't have one close by. I grew up on thift clothes and I truly believe that's were I got my cheapness from and why I never pay fill price for anything! 😅
Where I used to live we had a great Salvation army thrift shop and it was so much better than the Goodwill there and my favorite was a Turn Style in Phoenix that I would go to when I visited my sister and always spend hours and hours.
Wow, that is a great idea to have a little capsule wardrobe for when you travel. I mean, I love that thought, I don't know if I could actually do it. LOL I love the black tank. Great fit! I'm unsure of the button down, because I think it just looks too big on you, and for $16, you can get a heck of a lot from Goodwill! LOL Cute belt! That bathing suit looks great on you! I really like the flannel. That black Liz Claiborne button up was a great find! I have bought a ridiculous amount of blazers, so I can't wait for cooler weather so I can start wearing them! I didn't even know Lularoe made jeggings. Cute jean skort. Love the black skort too! The white jeans look really good on you. I like the joggers. They are a great color! The packing cubes and carry-on bag look really nice! Awesome haul!
Thanks. And lol, we must think alike because the next week I did take the $16 shirt back to kohls and spent my $10 kohls cash so my 2 scarfs, 1 hair clip and 1 tank top only cost me 11 cents plus I made $16 by returning the navy big button down because I also think it was a bit too big. 🥰🥰
Oh and.... the travel capsule wardrobe is going to be a fun challenge, but I know I can do it, but I'm not sure I can limit my liquids and make up and skincare down enough to just do carry on. And I don't want my Europe trip to feel like I'm roughing it. Lol.
You found some really cute stuff. Tip: In Europe shoulders must be covered up to enter into churches and some museums, so carry light jacket or something in case.
I had heard that. I also hear Knees which is The One that might be More of a Problem for me. My skirts aren't short imo but I am bringing one. That comes right at my knees, so they do show. I'll just have to remember not to wear it on any days. I want to see a church.

@leeloudoulee8766 it is a cruise that goes to several stops in Italy and then Cannes, France and Corfu Greece. I've only been to Europe 1 other time, way back in 2008, so I'm very excited. Which also is probably why I'm thinking about what clothes to bring when it's not until October and I have a couple other trips coming up before that one that I'm not concerned about what to pack at all. 🤔💞
I purposely did not like or comment on this comment so I would remember to come back to it. LOL but I did finally wash them and they did great. The only thing is, you're not supposed to dry them just kind of spread them back out and lay them flat, and they dried very quickly like that. Because I really don't like having things laying around drying flat. Because during that time, I feel like it just really clutters up your house. And then they easily rerolled and went back on the roll peg thingy. Now I certainly don't know how they will look after 5 washes or so. But they've done great after one.

@michellenylander8957 and they're sooo expensive anymore. These are basically the same cost a a 6 pack of nice paper towels. I know when you think about it, it shouldn't be any different than just grabbing a new wash cloth out of my wash cloth drawer and I don't do that but because these are on a paper towel roll I do and they are very thin and soft and I like them. 😊
